Browsing the Tesco website, I see the 16GB, Ipad Air 2 is selling for £319.
This seems very pricey, so I was wondering, has anyone got both?
If so, can you honestly say, the Ipad Air 2 is really worth 3 times the price of the Hudl 2?

you pay at least more for using an apple product"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

Not just the name but usually a better build than the Hudl would be .0

A lot will pay extra for the image factor.
Is a [insanely priced supercar of your choice] worth [appropriate large multiple] times the price of a [bog standard euro-box of your choice]?
Things are worth what people will pay for them. For me any Apple product is worth SFA because I detest the way they are locked down.0 -
Hudl 2 is a great, solid tablet. The screen is incredible.0

I agree, the screen quality is excellent.
It also has a slot for a Micro SD Card, and a HDMI out socket, neither of which, I understand, an Ipad Air 2 has.
The only thing I would like added to a Hudl, is 3/4G.0 -
The iPad just plain works; it does what it says on the tin.
There are loads of apps, and Apple's support is excellent.
I got my iPad from Tesco using Clubcard points.
You can spend less money if you want to get another brand; it's up to you.0 -

As does the Hudl.it does what it says on the tin.
So does the Hudl. There are loads of apps
Same with the Hudl.and Apple's support is excellent.
Having not had to contact Hudl support, I can't comment on that point.
I've not seen or heard, any objective comments, on why an Air 2 is better than a HUdl 2.0 -

There are many many more, and far better, apps written for autistic children for iPad/Apple than for the Hudl/Android
But that's probably a very obscure reason for selecting the former over the latter :rotfl: It's certainly the only reason why I've finally succumbed to an Apple product :rotfl::heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Yes and No.
The hudl 2 is an 8 inch tablet and the Ipad is 10 inch.
You need to compare it with the Ipad Mini which is an 8 inch.
Then its 99 for the hudl v 219 for the ipad mini2 at tesco
Yes the Ipad is better but not twice as good.
You are paying for the name, marketing, desirability, and yes partly performance.
Value for money wise the hudl 2 is very good at that price. I am curious to see if they bring out a hudl 3 though.0
