I have noticed that I have not received interest on my 2 TSB accounts this month and I don't know why. I have followed the requirements re paying in etc and have never had a problem before until now, any ideas?

EDIT - Just checked account again and it seems I had been switched back to paper statements on both accounts, not sure how that happened, I certainly didn't change it.

I've got a better one , if this incentive ever returns has anybody ever managed to receive it if they already hold multiple TSB accounts.

It was £100 incentive when I opened my second account a few months back but I didn't get it. When I phoned up enquiring why I didn't get my switch incentive, I was told "you aren't allowed more than Plus account so don't know how you were allowed to open a second".

Still worth having a second for the 5%'s

I hear you can only get away with 2? At least only get incentive for 2.

If you were to get it for more than two, it would also be quite daft to shout about it on a public forum.

My partner applied for the account before 2/11, but got a request for ID through the post a few days after 2/11.

Does this mean she's missed the chance for the bonus?
  • Wanted to switch an account to them, applied about 2.5 weeks ago, went into branch with id, then got a rejection a week later.
Not clear at all what the reason is and coming from a noreply address. Any ideas?

I'd say at a guess the id was insufficient. As they credit check you before requesting id.
  • Just a reminder that today, 23 November, is the day you have to switch your account to TSB to qualify but I don't know what time the cut-off time is.

    anyone had their £125 yet??
  • Yes, got mine earlier this week. Account opened in Oct and transfer completed early Nov. I think it was a few days later than the 28 they mentioned in the terms, but was going to give them the benefit of the doubt before chasing as the DD's didn't go out for a while after the transfer.
