What do the switch terms say?
What do the account terms say about the monthly reward?0 -
It doesn't seem to say anywhere that the 2 DDs need to be kept to have the 5% in-credit interest or the 5% contactless cashback. Does that mean you can move/cancel the 2 DDs as soon as you get the £125 bonus?2nd Aug, 15: £276k. 18th Sep, 15: £269k. 30th Oct, 15: £265k.0

Some of these posts seem to be conflating the terms for different attributes of this account, or asking questions along those lines.
The interest is paid monthly, provided that the account is registered online and paperless, and the requisite amount arrives each month.
The direct debit requirement is only related to the incentive switch offer. Thus you could start with two direct debits and soon end them.
My account has never had direct debits so far. This is because I opened it some months ago without any switch offer. It still gets the good interest rate, though it got none at all when I left the balance low with no in-payments for a couple of months. I've just started using contactless, having asked for a new card when I saw the related promotion, so I hope to notice some cashback soon.0
