That may be the point, posting my eBay user ID is in breach of the Data Protection Act 1998. That I am certain of.

It's not, and in fact it was you that originally pointed to it, but I've edited my link to stop more overreacting. You do post a lot of identifying information online. Is there someone more objective that can help you with this, and talk to about protecting your privacy online?

OP you do seem to have more than your fair share of problems and the companies you deal with either call you a liar or you call them ignorant.

maybe you should try and stay a bit calmer when dealing with them.

this is what you said about vodafone

I am sure they are doing this on purpose and would describe it as persecution.

I am sure this constitutes theft and fraud.

Did you get your money back from them

Eventually I did get my money back from Vodafone, and they wiped out all of the charges I allegedly incurred while I was in America. It totaled approximately £130.

From the information you post on the net?
Are individuals held to the Data protection act?
  • That's because I am not a business seller. I sell items I am not using, I don't run a shop...

Items that you are not using!

At least 14 hard drives (both internal and external),
Multiple external and internal HHD caddies, many new and unused,
6 mobile phones, pretty much on every network,
and many other computer orientated goods, many with multiple sales of similar or identical items (and that's only from the feedback where a description is still visible).

Absolute rubbish for a number of reasons.

1/ I am not running a business where I process personal data, hence I'm am not legally required to follow the DPA.

2/ Everything I have posted was obtained from information provided by you.

3/ Everything I have posted is freely available in the public domain.

4/ Your ebay user id does not identify you, hence the DPA doesn't apply.

Its not a good idea to leave a customer who has not received their items a neg with an abusive message and showing the tracking number (although it just been removed!)

The tracking number is NOT proof of delivery. It IS proof of posting. Your customer should be refunded at once rather than getting abusive feedback.
