You could also connect the SPA directly to the PC Ethernet port, check under your operating system what IP is assigned.

Though first make a note to what IP address range the router is dishing out.
Then enter that to see if it can connect.

What do I do here? I'll connect the SPA ethernet port? to the computer ethernet port? whilst leaving the other SPA internet port connected to the router thernet port 1 - correct?

NO The VOIP device does not connect to your computer

Computer connects to the router using an ethernet lead.

Only the power light comes on the SP3102 and that flashes

If its flashing something is wrong. It may flash at start then go stable. I am just trying mine to see what happens.

MINE IS FASHING WITH NO CABLES CONNECTED

CONNECT THE ETHERNET CABLE AND IT STOPS FLASHING. So if it's fashing then it must be a problem with the network connection.

Try with the device powered up with no other cables connected.

The phone you are going to use for VOIP connects using the base unit (Digital) to Green phone port.

The other green Line port on the ouside is for a normall telephone line, or at least thats how I see it (DONT USE THAT FOR NOW)
