Do you know anyone who knows about computers and setting up routers.
I get the feeling you don't know the basics and we are not getting anywhere.
I think you need to get someone to look at what you have, I am still not sure how you have it all connected.0 -
I do have access to everything now though...Help me to help you :santa2:0

I was wrong on one part, just tried mine.
If you have the VOIP adapter conected to phone but not to ethernet you do not get a dial tone.
But if you use the **** you should here a voice
Then use 110 and it should give you an IPZyxel
RJ11 port - Microfilter Modem port
Ethernet Port 1 - VOIP Ethernet Port
Ethernet Port 2 - Computer Ethernet
VOIP SP3102
Phone Port - Phone Base station
Ethernet Port - Zyxel ethernet port 1
Computer
Ethernet - Ethernet port 2
The above looks OK so long as its a VOIP adaptor, lets hope the shop was right.
I am not going to say any more tonight apart from whats next to give you time to think about it.
Lets assume you now can get the IP of the VOIP adaptor you will need to set up port forwarding of your old router to the new device. You may need to look at the VOIP service you intend to use to get the port details to forward.
NOTE: not all providers work with these devices so make sure you check they do.0 -
I feel I have learnt a lot though!Help me to help you :santa2:0

The ports open on the 3102 is the Line and Internet.
I don't get a dial tone but the ip keeps coming at 0.0.0.0Help me to help you :santa2:0 -
I don't get a dial tone but the ip keeps coming at 0.0.0.0
Something is wrong then. No point moving on untill you get a proper IP.
If you can now access the voice menu try setting a fixed IP, (instructions are in the manual) say your old router is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
Make the VOIP device
192.168.0.5 or 192.168.1.5
They have to be in the same range, thats why I said both so if router is 192.168.1.1 your new VOIP IP has to be in the range of 192.168.1.2 - 255
You wont get a tone untill you have entered your VOIP details in the VOIP device and you cant do that untill you have web access to it and know its IP.0 -

Yes, this can be used as both.
Have you tried switching everything off.
Then switch on ADSL Modem / Router wait 60 seconds
Then switch on SPA wait about 60 seconds
Then try the **** 110It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
