    the power of Flyladies...

they have been found! I had plonked them in a classroom, on a shelf...
    :T:T:T:T WOOTY WOOTY WOOT!!!!! :rotfl:
It just occurred to me that there is no-one I could ring to invite round or meet up with. How pathetic is that?
You and me both; I could climb the walls some days while Mr LW is at work.:(
Shame we're not near each other, you never know, I might even find the courage to socialise!:o

Noyz Boyz have gone home. *cries*

Mr LW and I have, however, been mega-busy today. After the Spaniels had been picked up, we went into town for the regular F&V run, also popped into D£benhams and got me a new dressing gown (£15 in vouchers put towards it):money: I'm pleased with it; it's a fluffy fleecy one, in a grey leopard-print pattern (no pale pink or white here, thank you so much!):D and it has a hood, which will be useful when I have to escort doggies into the garden at sparrow-fart in the mornings cos they need a pee and won't go outside without a human.:D
So the old, holey one is now in the wash bin, I'll chuck it in with the next hot wash, then it can go to the animal charity for dog-beds or whatever they want to use it for, along with Mr LW's old one.

When we got back, I realised we were due to turn the mattress this weekend; I also got Mr LW to move the bed so that I could vacuum under it, he also moved the bedside cabinets, and also the sofa and big heavy chair in the lounge, so it's all been really thoroughly done (I emptied the Dys0n cylinder three times) He also helped me dust throughout the whole bungalow.:A:A:A

I have a loaf on the go in the BM - should be ready in about an hour and a half.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Hmm

Brother has rung and they have been held up, wont see them until later now. (Thanks Frizzle). Both boys and OH have gone out to watch footie/meet up with friends. That leaves me alone with a pile of ironing and a house that needs cleaning.

It just occurred to me that there is no-one I could ring to invite round or meet up with. How pathetic is that?

Well no point in feeling sorry for myself, might as well get the hoover out and get on with it.

You are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS welcome at my hovel... as are all the flybodies... assuming you are in Yorkshire :D

My kitchen has been sparkled today.. cupboards, sides, floor, ceiling, windows.. all done.. apart from the 1 section of worktop I NEED desperately to sort out!

Piggers what are those little box thingys under your av for?

YL, I don't have folk I can invite round, so I have MSE meets! :) very casual and not for long, but they are fun and lovely to meet folk from the site, last time we chatted, sailed a boat, watched the sea.

    Work done very busy!!
Dinner done according to OH there is no food in the house, errr, I have a store cupboard fully of stuff, tins in another cupboard, and the freezer is all but full as well, so he had gone to the supermarket to buy food, I declined to go and I would end up paying.............no doubt he will come back with what I class as rubbish type food........

I have thrown a bag of stuff away from the side shed, had a tidy up out there and bunged the left over spring and lawn feeds I found out there on the lawn, not covered it all but hey I'll get some new stuff in the spring.

Cloudy here, hoping for a spot of rain on my lawn.

Thank you dancemum and Dusty - you gave me the push I needed. Got home from a very good day conference/workshops at about 5.00 pm, read my emails and caught up with the thread, and was about to go and plonk myself in front of the telly when I thought "I could do that now, while it's still light!" So my lawn is now mown, edged and cleared of all the leaves (for a few moments at least :rotfl:) - it's quicker to do that with the lawn mower than to rake them all up. I've also cut all the remaining tomatoes off the vines and brought them indoors to ripen, and I've swept the path and even potted up some thrift cuttings :money: given to me by a friend only yesterday.

Well done on the sale, Valli , and :T :T on your flying, Mr and Mrs LW.
Glad you've had a better day, CY. Roll on 5th November!

Soup is now bubbling and ready to eat - I'm hungry now :D

    Evening all.

Busy but successful week - ran a training course on Tues and feedback from attendees was really positive. I have booked travel and hotel for the first taught day of my Post Grad course (Oldham - a bit of a distance from the south coast!!) and recovered from the shock of the cost of some of the books on the reading list!!

CY - continued thoughts and prayers heading your way

valli - glad the keys turned up

YL - I don't have anyone I could invite round / go and visit except a few family members - most weeks I only speak to / see Mum and Dad outside of work.

Like kazw I have been on Flylady meets and consider people on this thread to be my friends. Maybe we need to plan some more meets? ...............

LW - You're not that far from me so, if you ever feel like you could manage a little meet, just shout xx
