Broker spoke to nw again today, the marriage certificate wasn't clear enough. Managed to get a better quality scan of it which they're happy with now. So just waiting on hearing back now

... amusing, yes but is it really the kind of answer you want from someone representing you and arranging the purchase of your biggest ever asset?

My summary earlier was what I thought your broker was saying to you, without actually saying it...

Oh the broker's funny, he sorted out the right lender under the right circumstances for me. Not sure if he really meant what he said. Either way I found it quite amusing. It's a serious transaction but it's not the end of the world, there will always be another lender and another property.

I don't really know where we are!! FTB and not too sure how it all works.

We got a DIP with nationwide in August and then had offer accepted on a property on 7th September. Full application went in after this and we have been back and forward a few times sending additional dcuments etc. Valuation carried out 1st October. I am worried though as my wages are low and irregular hours and they have been querying this. I am not sure they will agree to the amount I put as my income, as they were mentioning some of my pay was secondary income??

Anyway, just really nervous as if we get this house it will mean a lot of other changes in our family life, which are all on hold at the moment waiting on this first.

Well I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!
The waiting is easily the hardest part. We haven't even been approved for the DIP yet, so I'm super anxious.
