  • Right, well he called and NW had lost the emailed payslip from last week so he had to resend it yesterday and they put it to a 24 hr turnaround so should get an answer today/tomorrow!

He said it was with the underwriters?

Now we have another issue as at the house reservation office they didn't get my husband to sign the reservation form, and help to buy need two signatures so now we have to sort that and resend!!

So it seems as though me and you are in the same position! Not paid nor had valuation but seem to be with the underwriters... Thank god I'm not the only one! Has he confirmed that your dip was approved as you may be ahead of the game if that's the case. Mine is defo still refered as I confirmed it on the phone when she said "it should then go to an offer" as I was really confused lol!!

If you have not paid the valuation fee, your full application has not yet been submitted. You are at DIP stage.

You cannot submit a full application without entering the card details for at least the valuation fee.

  • The broker had my card details, but no payment has been taken. He said it was with the underwriters.

    Hasn't confirmed about the DIP.

Fairy/lau - They take payment for valuation as soon as full application is submitted. My DIP was instant so broker submitted full application and money was debited next day as well as receiving a text from NW to confirm receipt of application.

Now the valuation was done yesterday broker asked NW for an update and they are now querying the amount of OT I am doing as I have not done much recently, despite them having P60's for the last two years. Looks I will have to increase my term. The bad news for me is they might not able to lend me what I have asked for. Very picky with the OT. Broker advised there are other lenders if the worst comes but he is doing his best.

    The saga continues...

I can only comment on broker submission route, if you are online direct or branch direct it may be different.

All I know is WE can't submit an application without entering acceptable card details and the fee being collected (a receipt is raised) before pressing the submit button.
