As for Netflix, I loved Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul; Orange is the New Black and The Killing. I've been looking for something new to watch on there myself and my sister has recommended Sons of Anarchy.
Darn, we don't pay for Sky so well just have to wait. ..
I second your recommendations. If you liked The Killing, try Borgen & The Bridge. Both are scandi and amazing." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Morning all
Just waved DS2 off to work for the day.
Had a lovely day yesterday. DS1 son having 1st birthday and it was a lovely happy day.
Am utterly exhausted and I did no work, must be getting old!.
Still on target moneywise, but very difficult to resist everything. Thinking of Jan keeps me focused.
Daffodil planting day today.0 -
Off to work this morning. Hoping it'll take my mind off my issues and not making them worse. It's not the kind of workplace where you can share your worries. So I'll just have to try to turn my mind around back to contentment myself:
* Go to work.
*Take a packed lunch and a drink.

Ally my workplace is the same but actually its no bad thing because it means that you dont have to go over things that are difficult in your personal life all the time and can just get on with your job. And if you are busy you dont get time to think about your worries anyway. Hope it does make things better for you today.
We were out last night. Once every couple of months we go on a cheap social evening. It was good fun but my head is slightly fuzzy.
We did think about going to look for kitchen tiles today and OH wants some wood from the DIY store. He made me laugh last night - he said "oh but the kids will want to come, and they will want us to buy them something small, then everyone will want a cup of tea and a bun and before you know it a £5 piece of timber has cost £45." We said we would decide this morning.0 -
Morning all,
Ally, Hope your day will be ok.
Yorkshire, I hate shopping with the kids (and dh to some extent!) as they all just nag!
Bob, Hope you are having a lovely relaxed weekend. Is your ds better now?
Maria, Thinking about daffodils made me smile
Morning to everyone else
We had my sis & niece staying over last night as my sis went out with friends for her birthday. So I decided to do everyone toast for breakfast as my ys stock of bread in the freezer was huge! Made a little dent into it
We're all still in pj's at the minute, dh flicked on the little fan heater for all of a few seconds before I told him he should switch it off and get under the fleece blanket with me instead. He doesn't like using the blankets (says it makes him feel old!) Whilst he's at work tomorrow I think I'll move the little heater out of our room so he doesn't even think about flicking it on!!!
Ds2 has a swimming lesson later, will leave my purse at home so that I don't spend anything whilst out.
Mr T delivery due with some salad that I need to go with for our big family lunch today, made a spag bol earlier in the week but going to turn it into a lasagne. (well my dad will put it together whilst I'm at swimming
) Dessert is going to be birthday cake (we didn't have it yesterday as we were all too full)
I need to make tomorrows sandwiches for the family.
I need to check lucky phone & FPL
Entertainment going to be in the form of board games & Netflixs/amazon prime later.
Think that's about it for today, have a good day all.0 -
Morning all
Ally - hope things are on the up for you very soon.
Bob - thanks for the Netflix recommendations
I am up and about, but not feeling great again this morning. I think I must run on adrenalin all week then just crash at the weekends. Never mind.
I really need to get a hang on my shopping habits. My 'tiny top up shop' turned into a £60 spend, and I had a list, which I stuck to. My only comfort is that I won't need to buy cat food for a bit, or air freshener for the bathroom
List for today
Get dh to do his share of the housework as he's off work
tutoring
load of washing
leave the heating off
complete some surveys
visit my mam and get a free feed, and have a look at this stuff to see if it's worth selling.
Finish marking controlled assessments
take dd to her tumble class
nsd
no batch cooking as the freezer and fridge are full Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Sounds a lovely day LegoMum. Your dad is so amazing sounding. I'm always so impressed at the things he does at yours. Son is much better thank you. Him and OH griping at each other about the xbox. Am glad we've been invited out for lunch!
Yorkshire - how true though about the bits adding up.
CCL - I think I do the same. Friday was ridiculously full on. I appreciate I have good reason to feel tired anyway but I have felt particularly so this weekend. So actually trying to do the things like sitting down, resting, etc but I find that makes me worse!
So far this morning we have stripped out bed and put that through the wash. Packed son's lunch for tommorow and helped him do his homework sheet then packed that. Decided on dinner. We will probably be having the leftover chilli with some fresh pasta and son can have pizza bread sub with some salami. We shouldn't need a huge meal after a roast.
Took 2 reciepts up to Mr T to add on (18 points) got a YS loaf for 30p.
Feel we are as organised as we can be for the week ahead. So that's nice.
Did you hear that they are bringing back Some Mothers Do Ave em? They must be desperate. Why inflict that cr5p on another generation???
See you later
