3rd/4th October what small DFW things will you be doing this weekend?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free!
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending!
Good morning everyone :hello: I hope everyone is well. My list for today:
Meals from stores, packed lunch to dancing for me and 2 DD
Washing drying outside that was on cheap levy overnight
Start labelling clothes for NCT next weekend
Found a dress that I bought 2nd hand at a previous sale for DD1 for £2 that she can wear for family event tomorrow
Quick tidy round
Do shopping list now I have done meal plan
PAD
DH came home from work with some macaroni, horseradish and cheese - free. That's dinner sorted
Maybe pop to Mr t and spend my orchard voucher
Think that's about all. Will pop back later
So be proud of those small steps, they really important!

My small thing this morning was to check the balances of the various points schemes I have that I use towards paying for Christmas.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

I got back from my holiday in the (not so) early hours of Friday morning but yesterday was an exhausted blur as I only had a couple of hours sleep and had dgd all day. Thankfully feeling rested this morning and back at my regular life! Holiday was lovely and I stayed within budget :T
Things for this weekend:

*[STRIKE] marinade chicken for chinese style chicken[/STRIKE]
*[STRIKE] cook all meat in one go
[/STRIKE]
* hang washing out
* do another load and hopefully hang out
* flylady kitchen & front room
* post 3 fleabay sales
* photo a few items for fleabay
* all meals from stores
* tidy up garden
* take dgd for a walk to feed the ducks
*[STRIKE] check banking & reconcile accounts for the end of the month[/STRIKE]
* look at must for wine and decide whether it's worth bottling or get rid of....
Ok that's all I need to do :T nothing earth shattering - either good or bad! Hope everyone has had a good week. Ziggy sorry to hear you are feeling low at the moment xDF as at 30/12/16

Happy birthday legomums DS. Hope you all have a nice day.
Low spend day for me today, going out tonight but that's budgeted for and it will be fairly cheap anyway. Washing out on the line, hopefully the sun will come out.
Off to make breakfast for myself and DS. No-one else is up yet.0 -
Morning all - I feel rough this morning

Stayed up until almost midnight doing marking, then woken by furry friends at 5 so came downstairs to sleep - then up for the day at half seven. May need a large nap later on. I always seem to be tired by Saturday.
Sorry to hear you're not 100% Ziggy - hope things pick up soon.
DNMS - pleased you enjoyed your hols.
My plans for the weekend
check banking and PAD
read meters and submit
tiny top up shop from one of the cheaper supermarkets
meals from stores
bit of housework and declutter (although I am passing this to dh while he's off work)
washing
try not to put the heating on (brrrrr)
ds to football
both kids to gymnastics
inventory food stores (don't think I need to batch cook this weekend)
enjoy a girlie afternoon with dd while the boys watch Sunderland being rubbish at football again.
pick up prescriptions (urgent) Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Morning all

Thanks for the start Jonno
So far today I have:
Listed an item on ebay
Washed kitchen floor
Cheap breakfast - porridge with oddments of fruit
Given neighbour some eggs
Cleaned a copper item for my sales unit
Still to do:
Take some more items to sales unit
Collect some photos that OH ordered
Pick up some chicken food and some mushrooms while I am out, possibly also a lemon as well (I will check to see if I have one first!)
All HM meals, just me again, so it will be cheap!
Cook some pie meat that I got out of the freezer for tomorrow (need the mushrooms to make this go further) using SC for fuel economy
If it is nice later, plant the rest of the pansies I bought yesterday in the front garden pots
Put prepared hyacinths in vases in the dark cupboard (I love growing these
)
Walk pup later
Hoover stairs
I am sure there is more, but I can't think of it at the moment. Hope everyone has a good day

HH tidy in the living room and study
Do some studying

Do laundry for holiday let job
Spend some time with DH before he heads to work tonight
Use meal plan and make a shopping list
Do weekly online shop
Sort through one pile of paperwork

Try to persuade ds1 to do homework for next week
Find list of sites that I am signed up with, as I need to check points and redeem where possible

Morning DFW-Ninjas,
Thanks for the starter Jonno.
Hoping today is going to be more relaxed than yesterday after the Big Upset. To be honest, I'm still not ok, but its going to get better.
I refuse to shed any tears over this.
Didn't have the mental or physical energy for ParkRun this morning...sad to miss it but, oh well, it's on every week.
Gonna try to focus only on fun things today.
Debt-Free Nillionaire Month 4:
* Check broadband allowance. Done. Got loads left. Might stream another film later.
* Took some photos of garden wildlife for pleasure this morning.
* Do i-Say and GfK surveys. Done.
* Use Ancestry subscription. There is a membership fee but it's a cheaper habit that going to the yacht club like the old me used to.
* Plan a last minute treat with OH this afternoon. Something cheap.
Catch you later folks.

Oh Ally - I'm sorry to hear you sounding so down. Whatever it is has obviously hit you very hard indeed. I hope it gets better very soon...
Has anyone here ever done a car boot sale? My mam has asked me if I want to do one to sell the stuff from her mother in law's house. I've never even thought about doing a car boot fair and don't know where to start... Any pointers or advice appreciated.Not giving up
