Think this is a good idea.
Most people go in Tesco's to buy their meal deal.
Perhaps for once they are thinking ahead .Shock!!

Put it in a plastic bag and it will be thrown down in the street as they get through the meal.
Paper one will be too, but at least they are a better biodegradable option than the plastic one.The more I live, the more I learn.

Maybe more people are concerned about the waste generated by carrier bags given out willy nilly, plus the enviromental implications(however much they are exaggerated they are)

What makes you think that? Costa is part of Whitbread plc. Whitbread coughed up £82.1m in CT in it's last financial year. Are you confusing Costa with Starbucks?
Could be. The fact is I don't drink coffee, so have never been in these rip off shops.
