Actually I have relatives and friends that work for various retailers and most of us and their colleagues are getting sick n tired of customers saying they have forgotten bags.

Even I have seen customers mutter similar.

Because Costa as a company are a money grabbing company, so they saw a chance to ripoff an extra 5p of customers.

Go n there again and when they tell you the paper bag is 5 pence, just say I'll leave it then and walk away. That will leave them with a panini they can't sell.
