Good news re the job, mrs mp xx and don't expect your routine to be perfect the first week - these things take a while to settle into xx
nicki my sewing tin is doing the same. It's been on button and label duty these last few weeks, may do some more tonight. DD has a big flower button on her school cardi, hidden between regular buttons, can only be seen when flung on the floor (!) so she knows at a glance which is hers - as do the other girls! DS was mighty jealous and now has racing car buttons in the hem of his sweaters
Must fix the hole in my black top though...
Had a council meeting this morning which was satisfactory (!) holding local landowners to account is tricky!
Flying this afternoon- downstairs loo needs attention and DD needs to tidy her room. We are having a quiet night as she is doing some of her rosettes this weekend so we'll be out at the dance studio. Aww.
Was anyone else freezing this morning? We've had fog here every morning for a week - even saw a car frosted over! DD needs her mitts getting out already - but it's sunny and glorious now!Bossymoo

Afternoon all :hello:
Been one of those 'bitty' days today so far and can't seem to settle to anything so lots of half-done jobs on the go. I'm going to have a cuppa and then go round and finish all the jobs before I start anything else :rotfl: Think it might be that DH is at home in the day atm and it's throwing me.
Thanks for explanation re 'parrots'
Mrs MP - your increased hours sound great. I'm sure you'll soon work out some new routines and manage it all. Sounds like you'll be enjoying things more as well.
Mumto5 - soo pleased to hear that your moggie is back home
CY - hope you having a good day and enjoying a bit of sunshine
Right - procrastinate no longer ! Going to put on the kettle and finish the kitchen tidy up first.

Hi all
Just checking in. Tired. OH has man-flu so has spent the day in bed. I am waiting for DS to text me to say that he wants picking up then I can come home and open the bottle of gin that my Mum bought me. Its been one of those weeks.0 -
Hi all,
Just catching up with the thread is exhausting! I have been so busy I haven't had time or inclination to fly. Massive list to be posted in morning for the weekend but I'm not thinking of it now. Everyone seems to have massive stuff going on. Positive, healing, coping, calming and general things getting better thoughts and vibes to all that are having issues. I have spoons, I think, to offer out as the only thing that I have to deal with at the moment is living in a fairly untidy building site. Perspective has been achieved and I see this now as an inconvenience but nothing more.
Thanks everyone for your continued support and friendship x0 -
