I love Autumn too CY and so dll all my kids. DS3 and I just back form a long walk through the wods, I'm aching now.
I washed down the paintwork and rubbed it down but the sills need filling and I need to wait for DH to land to see what to use.
Picked a few flowers frothe garden for a vase on my desk.
Spuds are cooking and I'm having a well earnt cuppa before getting the washing in and collect DS2 from the station. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
You flyladies are all awesome. I lurk throughout the day, flapping in a desperate attempt to complete lists, but generally, and usually, life gets in the way. A post later in the day is usually all I have time for.
I see how different we all are and how none of that matters to anyone. I admire the organised amongst us, empathise with the busy mums and enjoy hearing about the funny things that happen. There is a lot of support and some great suggestions on this thread for ladies going through the mill and I think it's one of my favourite places too!
Today I have done naff all.
DH's trip to Sussex was cancelled and we went out for lunch with his cousin and little one instead. I have emptied DW and loaded WM and TD, lit the woodburner and...oh, that's it0 -
Today I have trashed 3 rooms.. seriously trashed.. I have also packaged up a large pile of crap to post £66 worth.. and photographed more.
I did do 4 loads of washing though!!

Aww. It's so lovely here. Wish we were all neighbours and could pop round for a cuppa now and then
I'm sat in bed trying to get warm. Thought I was over this cold but I've felt so chilly all days. So I'm here watching the dancing under my duvet.
I've sorted loads of washing and got it all put away. I won't have time for uniforms etc tomorrow. We also did homework which to be fair was only DS and only a bit of reading and a few simple spellings.
Not much else gone on today, don't actually know where the time has gone...Bossymoo

I don't post much but I do read regularly and find this a very supportive thread with everyone so friendly.
My week started so well but not much flying happened at the end:(
The tumble drier is broken so I have struggled to dry the washing I did this morning as the forecast said it would be sunny.
We have been to ds2's cricket awards evening. Ds started cricket in summer 2014 making up the numbers over the holidays. He joined the team ' properly ' this year but had 6weeks off when he had surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. He loves playing but isn't one of the best. He won 'catch of the season':T The coach gave a lovely speech about how ds doesn't get to bowl or bat much but he is always there and never hassles about not being in the centre of the action. He said the catch was really important as it changed the way the match was going and " I know I shouldn't have favourites but I really hoped this child got the catch". OH and I are very proud:jsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Morning all
Bunbun that is a lovely cricketing story, I hope your son is delighted with taking his catch. Remind him of the saying 'catches win matches'
Just having a cuppa then I need a HHC of tidying to start the day and look at my list from yesterday to see what is achieveable. Need to food shop and go to cricket today. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Bunbun its lovely when they get recognised for things they have done. And my OH who is a football coach says that its the quiet ones who just get stuck in and get on with what they are asked to do who are worth their weight in gold.
Didnt achieve much flying yesterday, other than loads of washing. The weather has been so lovely here this week and the sun is shining again this morning.
Not sure what today brings. DS doesnt have footie so could want ferrying about to see friends. We talked about going to look at kitchen tiles but not sure if I can be bothered.
Going to read for a bit while everyone else is still asleep.0 -
Morning all. Had a lie in for a second day, obviously needed, thankfully the cold is going now.
So far today I have eaten, fed the dogs, cleaned the fridge, done a meal plan and shopping list for DH and am currently making minted pea soup before starting the tasks I should actually be doing which are:
Hoovering/sweeping/mopping through house
Dog walking
Gardening
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Kitchen tidied and side wiped. Various random items binned. Bin emptied and is now having a soak.
