    Lovely, Bunbun.

I like plastering. My favourite beach passtime as a child was making muddy pies and this is much, much better fun. I'm irritated that I have nowhere to practice between classes.

I love this thread and everyone who contributes. It feels like 'home.'
    Better is good enough.
  • Morning all - lovely day here - must make the most of it and get some washing out as rain is forecast for tomorrow.

Cricket awards last night. DS and OH did really well - including DH getting clubman of the year and champagne moment. I was delighted to hear this as I love champagne. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered the prize was not champagne... or prosecco.... or cava...... but some fizzy stuff form the land of frozen water!!!!!!!!!!!:(

On a completely unrelated point - does anyone on here know the address/website where you can donate wedding dresses and they make them into funeral gowns for babies? Neither of my daughters would consider wearing my 1987 dress and it seems such a waste to throw it out...

Hope everyone is having a good day and that Pigpen avoided the threatening migraine..

    ultimate froggery!

I have opened my breakdown cover envelope (received in JULY), put the card in my purse...and phoned them to tell them I am now driving a different car.

What I didn't mention was that I have been driving this vehicled since November 2014... and they came out to me in January!

    Whoops!

    Last TWO bank statements reconciled.

    Much shredding and recycling.:o

Lovely pic piggers. Well done on the course Frodders and good luck with it.

Grass cutting done. Have harvested last of the courgettes and sweetcorn and some carrots. Will prob get most of the last tomatoes off next and do some weeding and digging. Why have I got more strawberries growing in October?

I have today made: Bread, Blackberry'n'apple crumble, Cheese, tomato, onion & Qu0rn quiche (with fresh basil from the kitchen windowsill), and Lemming cake.
Mr LW did all the washing up. :A He's now ironing his shirts and trousers for work next week. :A
I've also planted up another pot of basil.
Charlie & Harvey's food comes in little plastic trays that are ideal for standing plant pots in, so instead of putting them in the recycling, I'm keeping them to use for pots of herbs on the windowsill. :money:

Good luck with the Post Grad course Frodders. I'd love to get some sort of qualification, but I don't think my energy levels would stretch to it, and I rather suspect the brainfog would be too much of a liability.:o

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon all.

I lost yesterday to having lunch out with a friend :D I haven't had a meal out with someone who wasn't family since maybe 2000 when I worked on my last school play and we used to go for a pub lunch after spending Saturday mornings painting the sets etc. It was a nice change of scene, and my friend insisted on paying :o I couldn't believe the cost so I've said if there's a next time I'm paying (and the next and the next to get anywhere near the price they paid:eek:). I did manage to get the weekly shop, my driving licence renewed, my bed changed and 2 dog walks in. I was absolutely shattered though so had an early night.

Today I've walked the dog, just about to put my 4th load in the WM (I was waiting for DD to get home so I could add her stuff) with more to go, hanging my 3rd load out on the line as its nice and sunny with a breeze, put a ham hock in the SC so there's ham for sandwiches for the week, and now I'm doing computer based bits while DD does her homework. I have a very busy work day tomorrow and I need a couple of things on the computer sorted so I might as well tackle some tadpoles while I'm here ;)

Off to sort out my calenders for November through January ready for when Av0n finally give us reps the dates for our seasonal orders. ;)
