    Bah, have lost the plot this month, have done lots of spending, both of my own money and budgeted present funds etc and it has all become muddled so I have no idea where I'm at!! Think I will try and aim for a further 5 days and see how I go (making my total aim 9NSDs this month)! Got two birthdays this weekend and am going out for both as well as out anniversary where we are off to watch Bill Bailey so need to take into consideration fuel and parking!

    Now as there are only 9/10 days left until the big Halloween Bash on the SS Swobzedecks, am I supposed to be knitting costumes? Do we have a theme or just generally scary?
    Must use my stash up!

    I think half the crew fancy being sea monsters and the rest want to dress up as dead sailors like the ones in Pirates of the Caribbean. Chef is planning to dress up as a troll, Mrs Doyle as a wailing banshee, and Hubert fancies being a beautiful sea siren. Captain marmite is rooting around in her wardrobe for her zombie onesie, and I will probably be Morticia Addams.

    Just need to sort out the food, the party games, the music....Well, everything, really.

  • How on earth can I dress up in my zombie onesie for The Big Bash.....I didn't bring my work clothes with me.

    Hubert,you've been telling porkie pies again! Naughty donkey,naughty! :eek:

    Nargle I see that you are choosing to distance yourself from your Spongebob obsession....very wise.Morticia is much more your thang.Ah scotmum very fetching in that grass skirt combo..you do realise that the grass was the voles nest,and now they are on the warpath! :eek::eek:

    Knit Witch I know you're going to roll your eyes,but a certain gentleman (short,stout,sexy knees,chest wig obsession...what do you mean,that doesn't narrow it down for you?!) requires more woollen unmentionables.His latest excuse is that the voles chewed them up to line their nest.....
  • Check this out. :rotfl::rotfl:

    Who'd have thought it?

    Next year The SS Swobzedex will sail during the month of September,aarrr! :T:T

    What on earth is going on, Igor? The Narglehounds were supposed to be helping me catch another NSD....instead, they are all hunched up in the corner, whimpering....And Tiddles has that smug git look on his face........I swear he has doubled in size since we got him, and as far as keeping the rat and vole population under control is concerned......Well, tell me, is it normal for rats and voles to be playing with his tail? And is it normal for you, Igor, to have to sleep in the crow's nest whilst a big fat puddy cat with huge teeth and claws takes over your bedroom?

    What's that racket? Oh, the voles have broken into the rum barrel again...

    Chef! I think we have need of your bazookie thingy, the voles are revolting.....Or should that be re-vole-ting?
