We had a lovely Sunday dinner in the Jolly Butcher ( from our planned going out budget). It was scrummy. We walked through some lovely parklands. We also walked along the old railway track. Have never been there before but we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

    Sounds lovely! :)
I'm don't know the Jolly Butcher - must look it up.
Taking it easy and listening to my body - on paracetamol round the clock with the occasional 15mg codeine if needed at night. Can't wait for my appointment Tuesday when I will find out what's what. I suspect I will be having a rendezvous with a scalpel very soon, then once my appendix is out and I get the all clear I can get on with some proper physio to sort my sciatica out. Lovely surprise this week - bouquet of flowers from my colleagues.

OH has been released from the doghouse ( he was banished there after falling for an online scam, buying a washing machine that did not exist). I am grateful that, having finished our IVA a couple of months back, I was able to squirrel away a Doomsday Cash Stash to draw on in the event of emergencies! This month I will put away more savings because next month I will get a lower salary due to being on basic wage whilst off sick. Building up savings is the sort of thing that's hard to do when you are living payday to payday and trying to pay off debts, but the NSD challenge goes some way to help.

I'll be crossing my fingers for you on Tuesday.

How sweet to get flowers. :)

Glad that OH is no longer in the doghouse and Igor can take his place for all his many slip ups this weekend....not before offering to give you a relaxing uber-hip rancid chip fat massage. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Not that I've tried myself...the vinegar gives me a nasty rash, but don't let that put you off. ;)

Might be able to sling another NSD in today or tomorrow. Have a couple of small cash outlays tomorrow but might stroll round to the cash machine in the local shop today instead. Either way there will be another NSD from Chateau Nargle soon.

Don't worry,we all have to spend money at some point. :)

You've only got 2 more to get to reach target,so methinks walking the plank highly unlikely! :D

Easy NSD as my place of work today was no where near shops. Came straight home and tackled the rather large ironing pile. I thought it was never going to stop!
