Igor, what are you doing with that giant pineapple? Oh, trying to find a stick big enough to impale it on....Chef, show Igor exactly what we mean by pineapple on sticks, will you? Yes, Igor, lots of neat little cubes on cocktail sticks. Usually with cubes of cheese as well, but you know what cheese does to my digestion. Ooh arrr, there be a fair wind tonight..........
Interesting kebabs, Chef.......what manner of meat be they?
What are you sniggering at, Igor? And why is Helga weeping and wailing something about her voles? Tell her to look lively, Hubert's after doing a jig and needs a partner! One life - your life - live it!0 -
Oohh a pirate party :j Will there be games like pin the tail on the vole , pass the pilchards, musical crows nest , as long as we aint got The Goode Olde Boys all is good.

Arrr, good old pirate party games! Pin the tail on the mermaid (you can come out of hiding, Hubert), rolling the barrel, and the slippery cannon!
(What, Igor? Oh it's a good old fashioned party game - two contestants sit astride the giant cannon, facing each other, and have to knock each other off using a pillow. Chef has, of course, greased up the cannon with ten pounds of whale fat, so it's nice and slippy)
And there's a prize for the most decorative eyepatch......And the most imaginative use for a peg leg......One life - your life - live it!0 -
NSD no 13 today
Went to am dram theatre tonight. It was brilliant and only £8 each, a fraction of what you would pay in London or a town theatre production. (Money came out of the planned pot).2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Not a NSD today as more food shopping required, however tomorrow looks promising.
Igor, why are you slathering on that foul aftershave your sisters got you for your birthday? It stinks to high heaven, and you haven't shaved since last month!
Oh, you thought you saw signs of female human life on that island we're approaching? We shall see....but in the meantime get rid of that aftershave, it's rancid! I hate to think what kind of life form would be attracted to that smell. Go on, scrub yourself till the stink has gone!
Oh-oh, too late! Watch out, Igor!
Tiddles! Put Igor down, you don't know where he's been.....One life - your life - live it!0
