Hoping for another one today but the kids have now started their half term holiday so not sensing too many over the rest of the month!
Pooter problems....grrrrrr!
Your 5 additional nsds most welcome! :j:j

Well done and thank you stripey! :j:jNargleblast wrote: »More spending today.....should have known better than to introduce OH to the wonders of a pound shop.......Igor! I want you to give the Narglehounds a good talking to, they need to get out there after those NSDs! I don't care if Cheffie wants you to finish folding his puff pastry whilst he goes vole-splattering! NSD collection comes first!
Hang on a minute....what is Chef doing poncing about making puff pastry? We be rough, tough, pirates here, we are hard! We don't do puff pastry, or cupcakes, or tea served in little china cups with cucumber sandwiches served on lacey doiley things......what's that, Igor? Whaddya mean, "behind you?"
Ah......erm...Hello, Mrs Doyle, yes I would love one of your cups of tea....and a cupcake.....And an egg sandwich....And another cup of tea......
So that's you good for capers for the year then?Poundshops are grand places, yessir! :rotfl::rotfl:
Indeed,we hearty sailors and pirates had a super tea party:delicate apple pastry puffs with the electrifying additional of capers, caper and egg sarnies, capers on a stick....you get the idea.Yes Igor had a quick visit with your OH,which also means that the Ennessdee Towers bog roll shortage has been taken care of....I just hope that Igor bought the one ply good quality stuff, and not some rubbish (that fell off the back of a lorry) that'll clog up the delicate, antique sewage system.... :eek:0 -

Well done Knit Witch! :j:j:j
Your lovely prize is a synchronised swimming lesson with the voles! :rotfl::rotfl:scotmumof3 wrote: »Argh me hearties been stuck up in that crows nest for days couldn't get down to put my NSDs in the barrel but I finally made it with 4 NSD which brings me up to #14 :j First target smashed :T I am off on my hols on monday so can I please up my target to 16 dear marmite

Woohoo scotmum, you are doing well! :j:jYour prize awaits you on the front page!
I saw you waving from up in the crow's nest, but just assumed that you were practising your semaphore...
I do hope that your nethers recover from the hideous grass skirt vole infestation.... :eek:Had a spendy day. Went to Wilko and my shampoo and conditioner was half price.
You're forgiven.
Nice bargain. :money:0 -

The scene: The deck of the SS Swobzedex the morning after Chef's vintage tea party. Comatose bodies litter the deck, stuffed with egg sarnies and puff pastries. Scotmum groans in agony, having mistakenly used Mrs Doyle's extra strong tea to treat the vole flea rash on her you-know-where.....knitwitch snores away, hands twitching, frantically knitting Halloween costumes in her sleep........Igor sits patiently threading capers onto cocktail sticks ready for the next event.......
Hubert gallops up to captain marmite excitedly - wearing a pair of ladies silk unmentionables with the name Ruby embroidered on them. Poor little donkey, still in the first stages of reading lessons, saw the letters U and B and thought it said Hubert.......One life - your life - live it!0 -
Yes fellow aaarrrr-sayers,get that ultra hip 'Hair of the Dog' cocktaily, capery concoction down your gullets....we move from tea party to elegant karaoke party aboard The SS Swobzedex ....yes it's karaoke night tonight woohoo!!! :j
The end of the month approacheth, and, like salmon heading upstream (Cheffie's eyes flutter open at hearing 'salmon',as he searches for his bazookie, twitching and mumbling chicky chicky, then drifts back into an caper induced stupor),we nsdsers approach the month's end with an instinctive urge to party, boogie, shake that booty and drink tea, barrels of Olde Fartinge and lots of cheesy puffs.Hubert rushes off to make a hair appointment with BFF scotmum, and Igor blushes as he realises that he has put his chest wig on upside down, and someone has posted a pic of said blunder on his Facebook page...the shame.
In summary, get ready for a stonker of a party tonight!
Nargle, please inform your dear OH and Igor that if I ever set eyes on another caper,I might not be held responsible for my actions....Yes,little did I realize that I have one humdinger of a caper allergy, which explains my generalized puffiness and red, blotchy skin!
This was not the look I was going for tonight.'deep sigh'.
Ah,Mrs Doyle, right on time with a nice cuppa....at least someone here knows what they're doing.0
