    2) Finding a like new book in the charity shop that will be perfect as a Christmas gift
    3) Discovering that I actually like my new hair cut

    2. Discovering that my mum has the size needles I need to knit my cardi so I don't need to buy any

    3. Braised Red Cabbage cooked in the SC

    4. Leek and Potato soup for lunch

    5. It's Friday!
  • Afternoon all :hello:

Pleasures for the last day or so.

    1. Good day yesterday - managed to get our bedding washed, line dried and ironed.

    2. Lovely fresh egyptian cotton sheets last night.

    3. Looking forward to a girls night with a good friend tonight - dvd and a bottle of wine.

    More steps forward with ds:

    4. A visit by Crossroads Care today - ds is going to try a social enterprise group next Wednesday. It is a small group of young adults and involves computers so I have got everything crossed that he enjoys it.

    5. Arranging a referral to a local Autism support group - if accepted ds will be able to access a social skills group so yet again, fingers and toes crossed .

    Enjoy your Friday evening everyone,

I had to do just a small laundry Ollie, I was running out of clean knickers :o. I tried your Olbas trick but nothing, zilch, zero...30 seconds later KAZOOOOOM:eek: !!! Yup, that was certainly mind blowing, ha ha

Are you my long lost twin BamNaggy? All my favourite things ...Cornish pasties, Stardrops, ebaying, freecycling...oh wait, walking the dog? No, isn't you :D. Fortunately I have some good neighbours who help out in that respect

How do you knit a Boob, helyg? Please explain, think I've missed something
here and my mind is boggling :rotfl:

    My 5

    1. The physio phoned today to see how I am and say she's asked the GP to call on me. Typical, I'm beginning to feel better at last. They are kind though and I'm not complaining about the excellent service the NHS is providing me with :D

    2. Thinking of above, and counting my blessings that I have such lovely neighbours. Nothing seems too much for them although I [STRIKE]do feel I must be[/STRIKE] know I'm a pain sometimes

    3. Was going to venture out to get my scrip and some basicss but DNeighbour saw me and insisted on going. She a savvy shopper too, came back with some great YS's then stayed for a cuppa afterwards. I was concerned she'd get my cold but she said she never gets them....we'll see

    4. Bought the breadmaker I wanted at a much reduced price as it was a display model, wasn't going to get it yet but it was a bargain and well, you have to, don't you :p? It arrived today and made my first loaf (popping over to the relevant forum in a mo to ask a few q's as I think I did something wrong) it looked perfect just tastes a wee bit bland. However I'll Percy Vere and soon get the hang of it :)

    5. A long chat on the phone with DS, he said his OH fully understands my feelings towards her and she'd be angry too if someone hurt one of her children the way she hurt DS. Costing me too much emotionally so I am trying to be civil which is less expensive - even my emotions are quite OS !

Night night n God bless all

:rotfl:if you take a look on the "knit your square" thread it all becomes clear... lots of people knit boobs for hospitals/midwives to use as teaching aids. Apparently the "proper" ones cost about £35, but knitted ones are just as good and can be knitted easily out of scraps of leftover yarn.
