Oh NW, sorry to hear OH is being a pig. Please dry your tears and accept a virtual hug, try to get some fresh air at lunchtime, and I hope that he'll be nicer tonight x
  • Another hug flying your way Newlywed. A walk always helps me. Keep to your boundaries - noone deserves to be sworn at. Find strength from your own behaviour, you have said no I won't accept this - good for you. Let oh own his own behaviour, it is his choice to behave this way, you are not making him.

    Luv, Thriftyxxx
  • Hug to NW :grouphug:, Is it man pmt time for you too???
Think it must be a moon phase as mine has been a grumpy sh** this week aswell,

I think its time to conduct some reaserch into male pmt!! Im sure they get it worse than us (well in this house anyway!!):wall:

Would suggest getting rid of them all to start a commune but they have there uses, not always sure what these are though!!??

Has gone to play on her own little world for a bit..... but its ok the voices in her head came too so she's not alone ;)
  • My OS pleasures of today

    1. wasted the morning with coffee and chatter!!:coffee:

    2. watching the little one in her first school show, ok so she picked her nose and refused to do anything :embarasse(just like her daddy ahhh!) but it was fun!!

    3. Will soon be watching the eldest all dressed up at her poetry recital too! :T

    4. Finding mse yesterday and knowing I can come somewhere to find like minded thrift addicts who wont call me cheap or think that attempts to cut the shopping bill are odd! :j(How the hell families of 4 are spending £180 a week on food is beyond me! We go nuts if we spend over £80!!!*)

    5. Have just been told I have the night off! So I get to do bedtime routine and story telling! yeay!!!:rotfl:

Has gone to play on her own little world for a bit..... but its ok the voices in her head came too so she's not alone ;)

Ummm 2. not feeling too tired even though I didn't sleep much at all (OH hardly talking to me and not even sitting next to me on the sofa in the evening - no idea what to do, it started because I complained he was more likely to use the f word at me than tell me he loved me :(.

Oh Newlywed, Don't know what to say but have a virtual hug, hopefully he'll stomp around a bit then realise that he's anoyed because he knows you were right and he's been a prat

Digging deep today as I've been out of the office from three days and now have loads of things to do.......and a work event tonight that involves wearing formal dress when I really want to cuddle up on the couch with oh :(

1 - positive thinking about the event tonight - gives me an excuse to wear the beautiful dress my friend gave me.
2 - flying back from Amsterdam yesterday my work colleague had a gold card for the airline so we got access to the lounge and the free champagne, yum!
3 - I'm wearing leopard print stilletto shoes........just looking at them makes me smile!
4 - I sold a book on Amazon which is great as I forgot I had any listed they've been there for so long!
5 - OH sold my shredder and his old stereo on the classified ads so a little more for the house fund and a bit less clutter too.

There, feeling a bit better already :)

    have a good day

Just dropping by to give (((((GINORMOUS HUGS))))) to the dear friends :A here who are having to contend with big 'boys' and their tantrums

Carry on as though nothing has happened and they'll soon come back into line ;) when they realise their silly behaviour isn't going to make you rise to the bait.

Hi there - My 5 for today:

1 Helping to raise over 650 pounds for SSAFA (military charity) through the Big Brew. Selling home made cakes and tea and coffee. (NOT all made by me!)
2 Taking one of the many left over cakes to my next door neighbour who was just moving in - hopefully a new friend!
3 Hearing DS1 say that he wants to leave a present for Father Christmas!
4 Having a sneaky 30 mins sleep this afternoon before I picked the boys up from school!
5 Anticipation of the look on OH's face when I tell him we're going out for dinner as I want to "talk" to him!!!! This is priceless I can tell you!!!

Hope that everyone is OK. NewlyWed - don't worry about it. If you don't know what you've done then speak to him and tell him, then say to him that you would like him to tell you what is wrong or else you will have to assume that there is nothing wrong!

    Best of luck xxx
