Having a bit of a  day (problems with DS2) so need to remind myself of the good stuff:

    1. Delivery of stuff that I ordered in the Next sale, including a fab top to wear to Christmas parties etc reduced from £28 to £12 and a table runner reduced from £16 to £7 which matches my decor perfectly.

    2. Yummy Chicken and Leek Pie made from leftover roast chicken

    3. Playing board games with DS1 and DS2 after school

    4. 3 loads of washing dry on the line

    5. Beautiful autumn sunshine this afternoon.

Adding another one (retail therapy always helps...):

    6. Knitting book reduced from £14.99 to £3.99 and Slow Cooker cookbook reduced from £9.99 to £3.99, plus a free delivery code and an upgrade to next day delivery, from The Book People.

    Hi all, here's mine:

    1. Seeing all the family together at the weekend - very noisy with all those kids though

    2. Cooking a bit pot of soup to feed 9 and it going down well.

    3. Going home to a quiet flat after all the noise :rotfl:

    4. Having a day off yesterday and using it to go to the fishmongers in the village (about 10 miles away) and stocking up.

    5. Baking bread rolls (thanks thriftlady) and bread.

    6. Planning soup and rolls for my lunches (need to cut the cakes and lose some excess weight :o)

    7. Having a go on the wii fit and enjoying (some) of it ;)

    8. Being able to get fish for my sister, as well as a couple of other bits and drop it round to her.

    9. Buying a puzzle mat from lidl so OH doesn't have to moan about needing the table when I want to do a puzzle

    10. Doing my food shop on my day off, meaning I probably only need milk till the weekend.

    11. Having a car in this rainy weather (much better than having to wait for buses)

    12. Having my freezer stuffed full of food.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    Monday's good things:

    1. Finding the new blind we needed because the bathroom one broke was much cheaper than we expected!

    2. Ordering a fig, which I have always wanted, for less than £4 incl p&p here
    http://www.kitchengardenshop.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/26/products_id/198?oscsid=ce89feeb494cd96bf1e84e3106d99b36

    3. Potting up some growing herbs that were reduced in Asda - mint, parsley & chives. They will be happy in the conservatory for the winter then go out in spring.

    4. Emptying out my overfull handbag and finding £3.43 amongst the debris.

    5. Using the last of the rubber chicken in a lovely fried rice.

    Hope today is as good!

PS can someone please put me out of misery and tell me what YS is?
Oh dear, here we go again.
