Not done this for a while, so here are mine:
1. It's Friday!!!! The weekend, and a yummy homemade curry, beckons :T.
2. 3 hours of the delectable Simon Baker aka Patrick Jane the Mentalist on Five last night - that man is HOT, and I'm not normally into blonde men...phew...:smileyhea
3. Finding some well-reviewed voice recognition software, which means I can ditch my pathetic  attempts to learn to type properly. I LOATHE typing practice!
4. Researching restaurants to go to in Paris - off there in one week's time! Yippee :j!
5. Moving forward in my plans to ditch my job - may take a while, but I'll get there.

1. being tired so very tired but that tiredness due to my baby daughter being poorly and therefore my first pleasure being able to make her feel better
2. vaguely tidy house, if i look in the right places!
3. washed a load of clothes which were in the cupboard, for little one, mixture of all other 3 kids from when they were babies/toddlers. Brought back fond memories.
4. Reading magazines and discovering i already have all this season's supposed 'must haves' i am ready for the winter clothes wise
5. not sure if this is old style but DS1 has been on ritalin 3 days and is doing really well despite my fears that it may not work.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Well not pleasues today just horrid. My pony is injured. Bad leg injury after scramling out over fence and hedge trying to get away from another one which had him cornered and was kicking him. Vet been and hes stitched and bandaged and has painkillers. Problem is its in a bad place for healing and only time will tell if he'll make it . I'm upset as hes lovely and mild and quiet and I suppose is easy to pick on. Vet bill will be big too. :-("The purpose of Life is to spread and create Happiness" :j0

Hi,
1. My overwhelming joy and pride that my eldest son passed his A levels at grades that were brilliant for him.
2. Watching my doggies antics and feeling very blessed that I have them.
3. Having the support and ongoing love of my family whilst being unwell
4. Having the support and being confident in my new set of doctors who really seem to know their stuff.
5. Reading the MSE OS forums - I love them and they really perk up my day.
XXI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
sparrer - :j on the weight loss - that's MY exercise for the day
.
Ha ha Ollie that about sums up the exercises on the pulm rehab course...tilt the head to one side gently while breathing out, then 3 breaths, then repeat other side. I think I can just about manage that. Mind you it's building up slowly, we were all given pedometers this afternoon - we're expecting 50kg weights next week
Other blessings of the day...
1. The Great British Weather - not only did it line dry a machine load of washing for me this morning, it also watered my garden this afternoon :T
2. Gains and losses - a quantity of £'s I lent someone to tide them over a sticky patch months ago, and had written off because of their circumstances, was returned to me in full today .The 2lb I thought I had lost was officially confirmed this afternoon
3. A techie friend of a friend [STRIKE]downloade[/STRIKE]d [STRIKE]uploaded [/STRIKE] (never know which is which) put Word on my laptop for free. Not sure that I like it now though since having got used to an alternative
4. A lovely email from someone I used to know in my drinking days, telling me she's been sober almost 3 years, is married now and has a terrific job with an American airline :T
5. Arranging to spend this Sunday with DM before she goes off on her hols to Bournemouth, and I go off for a few days with my DF who is flying in next week .
A sneaky 6 - looking forward to the new series of X Factor starting tomorrow - I know it's corny but I do laugh at the first few programmes when they show some pretty horrific singers...they sound just like me! :rotfl:
Night night n God bless everybody, sweet dreams

Zarazara, so sorry about your pony, hope he mends very soon. No worries about the CD, I really wasn't getting at you, as Ollie says there is a great difference between a CD and a gold watch. Molly41 well done to your DS, your pride is justified.
My pleasures today are humble ones:-
1. Getting the shopping in. It's good to do it on a Friday as it had to be done on Saturday when DH was at work, unless I paid for a taxi:eek:
2. Salad lunch made from Aldi super sixes until my home grown salad catches up again after my hols.
3. Afternoon sleep. I needed it, it's been a busy week.
4. Half the baking done for Sunday visitors so my back wasn't breaking by teatime. Hope to do the other half today.
5. All evening chatting on the phone, first to my 89year old aunt and then to a friend. I love talktalk.

Well done Sparrer. I had to lend flatmate £3000 to pay part of a huge tax bill off a few months ago and I sadly don't think i will see this again as flatmate is mentioning the bankrupt word... if things don't pick up at work. They got shafted over spome job they did a while ago and have never recovered. What worries me is if he loses his flat, I will be homeless with nowhere to go.What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Catching up:
1. Breakfast out on the patio.
2. Beans, courgettes and tomatoes cropping thick and fast. The freezer is virtually full again.
3. Downstairs carpets recently steam cleaned. Am trying to be virtuous and slip shoes off whenever I pop in and out of the garden.
4. Nice email from a friend with whom I'd lost touch for many years.
5. OH has just made a lovely apple and soft fruit crumble for dinner tonight.0
