I'm trying to think positive and am hoping that Sparrer's absence is because she forgot to tell us that she'd won one of those holiday/health spa competitions on the comps thread and that she'd be away for several days being looked after all expenses paid. Please let it be something like that...

Keeping the above separate because sparrer post deserves its own space.

    1. Being elastic-y with the 24hrs interpretation, just before I start 2nd coat on fence, which will be another feelgood, when complete, as catalyst/self-granted permission to start playing at planting. This one's from 10-ish yesterday....but Big Boy, who saw off another two pheasants while I did wordpix for A, and little birdy extras are all hopping about on the food trail. They don't care once I'm out there.

    2. Nodded knowingly with ollie re: hair(my Appt at college come Thursday),

    3. Also re: shopping bags(always in car or now in hand, with BP petrol freedom)- but they're easy to run up anyway for nil expenditure, if you're like me :o with fabric, another hoarding passion.

    4. re: jvs no. 2 - hoping the coffee and leather settee moment is via the 'Free after 2pm daily till 21/4' offer from Starbucks. I intend continuing this next week. It's a lovely treat to anticipate.

    5. Finding green shoe cream in Newmarket(humble post elsewhere)at less than I'd seen anywhere last week(Cambridge, net) for ANY colours.

5[ii] Putting in a half-hour to secure National Express Funfares last night - £5 Glasgow rtn for last June's postponed week away. Shall hope, at last, to meet beanielou:j .

5[iii] jvs mentions Stroke Charity(and at last, those tv advts come somewhere near the mark). Had long telcon with A early and was able to put receiver by DAB radio as GK did the last section 'It's been a quiet week in Lake Woebegone...' I love it entirely and become defensive on the rare occasions when some episodes don't quite hit the spot - for me anyway, and it's all subjective.

Shall cook a roast of pork but these things are not the same when prep. lacks anticipation of sharing. Yet I am a solitary, as is A...so conundrum, conundrum.

hello jvs - an easy way.
Hover and left-click your mouse on smiley until you see a shaded square on it. Now right click your mouse and click on 'copy'. Alternatively. Control+C[but this doesn't work for everything, although it should.]

Next come to wherever you want to put smiley and press Control+V.
    It's an 'eh voilà!' moment.
You will feel clever and have another OS pleasure to add for today:D .

    Morning all,

    1. Having a donut for breakfast, with a lovely cup of tea.
    2. Seeing a second recycling bin filling up quick (so a bit like the football scores... recycling bags: 2 rubbish bag: 1
    3. That today is not a work day.
    4. Using the freebie/gift with purchase face cream from Marie Claire
    5. Switching off un-used lights and appliances (the leccy bill is out of control) and becoming like that man in the advert.

    Happy St Davids Day!
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

    1) The positive feeling of starting a new month with a grocery challenge budget.
    2) Having only a tiny piece of cross-stitch left to do before I finish the fourth page (four of nine, so five to go!)
    3) Meeting up with riends last night for a buffet meal and a nice cheap night
    4) Having the rest of the Mars Bar Krispie Cakes to eat at some point (probably crunched up over ice cream ... mmmm )
    5) Sorting through a drawer of clothes and getting a bag together for the charity shop.

Continually trying the Grocery Challenge. Gotta keep trying!

I need to buck up, so I must try harder to post on here more

1)I have started to sprout seeds & beans to add to my lunch time saries & salads.
    2) I have new carpet in my room at work instead of gaffer tape on the floor
    3) My garden is full of pots with unknown plants in courtesy of DD's house move, it's exciting, wondering what is each one is.
    4) Hubby has decorated the front bed room
    5) DS telling me he's got a steamer & he uses it & has veggies with every meal, he's 22, lol.
