........re: your 'goodnight ladies', olliebeak, do you think any chaps post here?
hmmm - hadn't actually given it any real consideration - howand sexist of me. From the postings on this thread, I got the impression (quite possibly mistaken
) that we are all female. My apologies to any males that I may have been emasculating - hope that helps to make amends!

I'm here at last, been totally taken up this week with DGK's 3 night sleepover. Here's and amalugumation of the pleasures of the last few days.
1. A nice walk in the sunshine with DGK's.
2. A visit to a children's event at a NT property.
3. A visit to Mr. A's late in the afternoon yielded lots of yellow stickered items which will save me ££££££:T
4. Milder weather = less heating.:money:
5. A last, my cardigan is all finished and sewn up:j

Hope you don’t mind me hopping on the bandwagon, I’m new to the OS thing but between you guys here and my Nan I think I’m going to enjoy it! :T
Here’s a list of things that I consider to be OS pleasures from the last few days (some more than others)
1) Getting not one, but two surprise packages in the post today – both from my Dad, both containing cake decorating books as I’ve been playing at cake making for a while and now want to start selling them once I’ve got env health clearance! (Not sure if this is strictly OS, but it didn’t cost me anything, and it’s more about knowing my Dad is interested in what I’m doing and is being encouraging)
2) Helping my Nan sort out the potatoes we are starting to grow
3) Seeing blue skies and knowing Spring is nearly here
4) Making meals from scratch every day this week – I told you I’m new at this! It’s a revelation that I can make everything from scratch and not just cakes! :rotfl:
5) Showing my Nan different things on the internet, not strictly OS, but it did make me smile as she’s fascinated by it but also scared stiff but did have a go in the end!Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p
