jesus christ some people on this forum are so judgemental.

Yes I have 2 accounts so what? I have simply changed my username I never deleted the posts. I'm not an "aggressive complainer", hence I didn't complain YET, and am checking if I have grounds to do so for being treated like some couch potato who doesn't contribute anything to society...

What we do know is that the OP claimed the JCP employee was rude.

No one has failed to respond to a letter of complaint as he has yet to decide if that is the action he wishes to take.

    Delay for what ?
What 'false information' has been given ?

I don't doubt under usual circumstances, if any of those could be proven, then compensation would be forthcoming.

So far, we've only the OP word for it.
And I have to say that from reading his other posts under his alternate ID (which have now all been deleted) he is an aggressive complainer.

    *edit*

You've since removed some of your post..:D

Where there's (no) blame there's a (spurious) claim!

We can't know that. Certainly it sounds as if the JCP employee is in breach of the DWP Service Standards. A written apology from a manager would probably suffice though.

Care to post a link so we can make up our own mind??????

OP comes over as very entitled and full of himself and has had his feelings hurt - diddums

    But you are...

You're whining about having to spend 30 minutes a week at the JC to be in receipt of £70 ish per week. Someone on min wage has to spend a lot more time than that for that money!

You are saying that you have some degree that you are applying for specialist roles in but yet claiming you are applying for 100 jobs a week?

Just get over yourself and get any job then look for something 'befitting' you and please don't tell me there's nothing out there.

Put your big girl/boy pants on and grow up. You are not owed anything even though you may be 'entitled'.

You seem to misunderstand the purpose of the Jobcentre OP. They're not there to treat you with kindness, they are there to ensure you fulfil your agreement and you maximise your chances of finding work - no more, no less. They are administrators, not counsellors or givers of hugs.

You've still told us nothing that demonstrates you have been treated with rudeness or disrespect.

Trust me I'm not overly pleased with being on benefits. This is my 2nd week on jsa because I've refrained from signing up for the past 2 months since I graduated due to the stigma. Hence, I'm not trying to take advantage or get something for nothing like you're implying. I saw your posts and you should understand that financial situations, are tough especially if you can't find a job. I want to be treated with respect, and I know my responsibilities and their regulations which I've followed. I want to get a job more than they want me to.

There's a clear underlying agenda that you think if someone is on jsa then they must be lazy, and I don't blame you because that's what the social stigma had me believe, until I encountered financial problems and I understood how tough it is.

So do you think not wanting to be treated kindly is regarded as being entitled now?

    Oh get over yourself

I had more financial hardship in the 90s then you will ever have and guess what I took a cleaning job whilst my Husband went back to college to learn a new trade after we both got made redundant in the same week- no tax credits for us we early lost our home - but we didn't whine about it.

This week on Wednesday I had to go into work with severe breathing difficulties because I work for a charity and if I didn't open the place people would suffer whilst you don't even want to do something for 1/2 hour that my contributions are paying for.

I'm not completely "in the know", but I don't believe that two way communication by e-mail is yet possible - apart from anything else, e-mail isn't regarded by the government departments as a secure medium for bandying about personal details. I think they are looking into ways of dragging themselves into the 21st century (perhaps secure messaging etc) because they recognise that there is a demand for it from their customers but there's nothing in place yet

Under Universal Credit, my understanding is that claimants will be allocated individual "work coaches" and will (as far as possible) see the same person each time they come in to ensure continuity.

When I claimed JSA last year, my work adviser gave me her work email address. I sent her emails several times - which she responded to promptly.

What claptrap. You don't get £75.00 for the half an hour a week at the Jobcentre. You get it for the 35 hours of work the DWP say you should spend jobsearching.

Not to mention it is a waste of taxpayers money unless the claimant walks or cycles to the JobCentre. Not much can be done in half an hour a week jobsearch there - yet they will be paying out travel expenses.
