MSE News: Urgent. £5.35 for a year's Sky line rental and broadband

Great offer! I signed up and am now live; had a bit if hassle from BT as they tried to charge me a termination fee even though I was out of contract.
However. I have just had an email from Sky to tell me that my line rental will increase by £1 per month from Dec., have looked online and that is the full monthly increase (the offer is for 50% line rental for a year?). Anyone else had this?0 -
I also received the email informing me of the changes from 1st December.
It's sneaky from Sky, however, even with the increase it'll be £14.35 for the year; cheaper than what I was previously paying.0 -
Have just mentioned increase to Sky whilst on phone and we'll only pay 50p increase as the offer is half price line rental for 12 months.
Definitely a bargain and customer service were quick and pleasant0 -
Has anyone checked their bill, mine shows the following:
Opening balance -£110.00
My Subscriptions £16.20 (£8.20 line rental + £8.00 anytime)
Last month changes £5.00
Additional products and service £6.95 (router delivery)
Total Due -£81.85
I can see the -£110.00 is the £105.00 credit + £5.00 credit card registration, but do not understand the £5.00 charge for 'Last Month Changes', does anyone know what this is before I start to chase Sky.
Thanks

You paid a £5 upfront charge.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
The £5.00 uprfront charge is shown in the overall total of £110 CREDIT, the £5.00 I am asking about is a Deduction not a Credit, sorry if my original email did not make that clear.
