I'm really disappointed - I was one of the lucky few who managed to get one of the codes....but it turns out OpenReach are not letting any phone provider set up Broadband for users where I live - we've all got to go on Fibre!! Raaaahhh!! Ridiculous as we already have normal Broadband so it's not as if we're adding any extras. Anyway, the good news for someone out there is that my code is going spare, so if anyone is still in need of a code please let me know.0

That is strange, I'm in the opposite position, they aren't allowing any new Fibre installs until sometime next month. Originally thought it was Sky being funny, but seems it's across the board. So we will see how good the standard broadband is and then consider upgrading when it's possible.0 -
I have just set this up and did not have to pay the £20.00 line transfer fee, (currently with EE).
Now have to wait for the confirmation email and relative dates.

I got a code last week, and was just about to use the code now. I'm moving house in a couple of weeks. I was going to get it for the new house.
After typing in the code, it says the speed I can expect in the new house is a lowly 1mbs - 4mbs. (My current house is 7Mbs - 17Mbs so thats much lower than I'm used to).
So looks like I'm going to need fibre broadband for a decent speed. Can I still use the code on fibre? Will I still get the bill credit and half price line rental? Or is that only when you select standard broadband?
If anyone can answer this, thanks
I contacted them by chat this morning to ask exactly that question: they said that the offer is only for Broadband and fibre cannot be added to the bundle. Pain.0 -
I have a spare Sky code. PM me if you would like it.0

I got my Sky email on 16th Sept supposedly giving me my code. The box was blank. I then got an email on the 18th to tell me that the offer was live. I received a third email yesterday saying 'last chance' here is a reminder of your code. It too was blank.
I called Sky and they said that the codes are generated by MSE and they do not have access to the codes.
As MSE have no contact number listed, I assume that is that and I cannot avail myself of the Sky offer!

I have a code that I will not be using (I really need fibre and this offer is only available for ordinary, slow broadband). So if you need a code, and can sign up before midnight tonight, please send me a PM. I shall check my messages at 9.30 tonight.0
