I got my link through this morning but something that is confusing me is that my house doesn't currently have an active landline but there is one installed, therefor on the sign up process it keeps adding the £20 fee for the landline installation.
Is this something I wouldn't have to pay if i got through to sky on the phone and explained the situation or does a new landline mean activating an unused one too?

    Thanks for any help

They are not referring to the physical line to the house, but the connection (activation) at the exchange.
  • I have a sky code I no longer need. If anyone wants it please send me a private message
  • The code has now been taken
  • anyone tried using their code and been told that Sky Broadband is not available in your area so you have to pay extra for fibre? what a joke!

In that case have you actually checked if its true or not .
  • Hi, i have signed up and have a set up date but was just wondering if there is a way to check if i have the free £100 on my account? Just a little weary as there was no mention of it after the first page.

    thanks,

    zara
  • I've tried all afternoon to chat with an online assistant for an explanation but apparently they are too busy. Broadband availability checkers show many suppliers offering service from my ADSL exchange up to 17Gb but Sky's speed connection is quoted as 38Gb (ie Fibre speeds).
  • Anybody have a spare code for this? Would be eternally grateful!

    Thanks!
