Jean Charles de Menezes want another police victim and neither were just one occurrences, were they?

That was TEN years ago , so why was he shot ? What would have happened if what they thought he was going to do did take place ? Another 7/7?

have to say i thought the OP was darkmatter at first.

Now it looks genuine it is shocking.

how much evidence do the police need she comes out of the same house wearing the same coat, its not going to be hard

lock her up for a couple of weeks

No of course it's not me. I hate people who would do such a thing. They're full of hate and envy.

No that is the reason the shooting is public knowledge ! What if the intel and comms had been spot on ?

Why evade what i am actually asking rather than having another go at the police , trying to hide behind a new user name is pathetic .

What went through the mind of the officer/s who shot him ? They thought he was going to blow up a train , quite simple answer which you choose to avoid !

Where have i said that i don't accept they got it wrong (THEY DID) , but making immediate decisions can sometimes be the wrong one . The police got it wrong with the shooting but the officer did what he thought was the best at the time . Very few people have to make immediate decisions like the officer/s did. Further Met incompetence , they deal with lifes difficult people , it is not simple or easy .... But then carry on criticizing ? For what purpose ?

I have and have been sending them PM's ...... Funny how a new poster jumps straight in and has a go at the Police where the person that started it has left the building !
I shall not post further on this topic
  • Police just called and said they wont be able to attend because they dont have a vehicle big enough for arrest... I told them I need immediate reschedule - Also, spoke to my neighbour and they said they would be happy to report her as soon as the cops are here.

Thats an absolute disgrace... waiting for reschedule still - 101 already know me and ask me everytime if i want to put through a complaint... Dont think that at this time they will do anything useful - just trying to postpone it :(

An admission out of interview or not under caution is inadmissable - look it up as i'm certain you don't know what that means .
Anyone who believes what they read in the papers about the police as a whole (it is only negative or bad news as good news doesn't sell papers) is very dim

Not true. Significant statements are potentially admissible in evidence. These must be voluntary statements and not in response to any questions put to the suspect.

E.g. If a suspect admits to a police officer that they just smashed a window before they're arrested and cautioned, that is confession evidence and is potentially admissible. Usually a note will be made in the officer's pocket notebook of the exact date, time and content of the significant statement. The suspect should then be asked to sign the notebook to acknowledge its accuracy. PACE Code C then says the significant statement should be put to the suspect at the start of the interview and they be asked to confirm if they agree or disagree with it.

A court will decide whether such statements are admissible or not. If a police officer has followed correct procedure it's likely they will be deemed admissible.

Note: if a statement that would be a significant statement is made in response to a question by a police officer, that exchange constitutes an interview and therefore must be PACE compliant.
