I might get one in 20 years' time when they're what all cars are.... so the same price as any other car might be.
Also, I read that replacement batteries on electric cars were £8k (although I did read that 3-5 years ago).
It doesn't matter how fabulous something is .... how eco-whatever it is ... how money-saving it is .... if you can't afford it, that's it!
As it is, too, those charger points aren't everywhere. e.g. if I drove to somebody's house 300 miles away and waved my plug at them they'd say "what's that then?" .... no idea where a recharge could be obtained.
You're really cool and I love you so much but your knowledge of EV is poor to say the least0 -

I also regularly do 600+ mile drives through Europe, usually when it's significantly cheaper than a last minute flight, so there's that to take into consideration too.
If there was a decent diesel hybrid (I've not found one yet), preferably made in Britain, I'd consider one, but wouldn't go all electric.
Most service stations and all Nissan Main dealers have rapid chargers now so 80% charged in just over half an hour the infrastructure is there now.0 -

Which is fine, until you end up in the back end of Eastern Europe with nowhere to charge the car and no battery life.
My car is a 2.0 diesel, mated to an automatic gearbox; a fantastic motorway cruiser and reasonably economical. I'd rather pay a little more for fuel, whilst having the flexibility of being able to drive it anywhere there's a petrol station.💙💛 💔0 -

On the odd occasion you find yourself in eastern europe you can borrow an ICE car from your nissan dealer (14 days per year).0 -

Quite happy for you to stalk me if you could offer us something bigger than a Note for a week at the end of August.
Will the 2017 Leaf coming this December be available with a 60kwh to get in ahead of the Model 3?I think....0 -

So, I'd be replacing '65' and '16' plate cars with new ones?
Hardly seems moneysaving......💙💛 💔0
