Evening all and a warm welcome to the new peoples :hello:I'm so glad someone has said they use Ocado. I don't have anyone to help with a giant Aldi shop (the checkout frenzy drives me mad) and I try and keep visits to a minimum, so I have all my heavy goods delivered by Ocado once a month. They price match Tesco and I buy other bits at Aldi. I choose free delivery slots and I'm sure that the reduction in stress must be worth it!
My 2 A*di are very frenzy-free and I actually enjoy shopping there. Not too big and they don't move the goods about very often.
We had another NSD and shouldn't need anything tomorrow.
Hope you all have a super Tuesday

DuranGirl - I haven't got an Aldi or Lidl near me as I live in the sticks, so am more than happy to use the home delivery from supermarkets to save me time and hassle shopping. Also, I have three huge dogs and the thought of hauling sacks of biscuits and trays of cans around the shop in a trolley with a mind of it's own is just too much to contemplate. Don't get me wrong - if I'm in a SM, I'll always look out for a bargain, but I mainly base my meals on foods that are on offer or good prices when in season.0

87.21 spent between Lidl, Tesco and Heron which'll do us until the end of the week (tomorrow as my week starts on Thursday). My budget was 80 a week so I'm 7.21 over which I'll have to catch up over the week.
I've just done an online shopping for this week because I need a lot of heavy stuff (I don't drive) so hopefully that'll keep the budget straight! All I'll need to get during the week will be fresh fruit and maybe a little more sandwich meat before next Thursday.MSE-ing since 20070 -

I had to buy some milk this evening, for £3 in total.
For the first time in ages I went in, bought what I actually needed and left again without spending money on unplanned, but tempting, stuff. I was actually surprised that I managed to do this!
I have loads of food in, and I really won't need much this week, but I am tempted to make use of the L1dl discount on offer up here in Scotland just now. I could get £8 off a £40 shop, which would be very nice, but I suppose I could stock up for the month. I could do with buying soap powder and softener, so I may use it to get that, and lots of storecupboard stuff. I've never had L1dl soap powder though, and slightly dubious. Oh well, I have until Wednesday to decide!
I hope the week has gotten off to a lovely start for everyone!
Brilliant - well done of just buying what you needed!
I haven't used the L1dl soap powder but I have used their bio laundry liquid which is brilliant.
Need to do a fairly big shop (for a Tuesday!) but didn't spend very much last Thursday, which is usually my main shopping day. Quite a bit of today's list is toiletries - everything seems to be running out or getting very low at the same time!

Back from shopping and spent a total of £18.50 across L1dl, Sainsbobs & local farm shop.
Quite happy with that as toiletries & 3l washing liquid came to just over £7.
Will update signature shortly.

Hope I'm not too late to join in this months. I'm going to try for £140 this month.
I was away all weekend helping out at brownie camp so spent nothing, but DH managed to spend £39 while I was away. No idea what on so I'll have to see if he kept the receipts. But I did come back from camp with quite a bit of leftover food plus a box of ferrero rocher from one of the parents.0 -
£5.67 Aldi spend tonight. I've decided that I'm going to take plenty of time later this week to plan and do a big online shop for the whole month, for delivery next week. In the meantime, I'll just buy bits to eke out what I've got in the freezer and store cupboard. I'll be very popular for making home made pizzas from scratch using some very old bread flour (shh!). Just had an e-mail from Tesco saying that they now won't be issuing Green Clubcard Points if you use your own bags any more, because of the 5p charge.
