BB - that exact thing happened to me once with some soup - I put a spoon into it, and it all bubbled up, covered my hand and left me with painful burning blisters. Ouch!

Mooloo, nice to see you - are you all settled in to the new house now? £1000 for a microwave  wow, I can hardly believe they were that expensive!!
Hi, I am still not totally unpacked. Cant seem to get the energy to open the boxes at the same time as having a pair of hands to lift them down for me.! i.e. my son or daughters. But its so good to have a bedroom and at the moment my own sittingroom.
As the babies are getting bigger they are becoming more vocal and so its a good idea to have my own room just now. However I think that I will have to eventually hand it over to babies as a safer room, or even as one of thems bedroom at some stage.
Yes the microwave really was that price. Bit like these new TVs over a £1,000 last year, down to about £400-£500 now already!.
Technology goes so fast. Its out dated by the time it hits the shops.

So you're telling me that microwaves don't in face have some kind of radioactive material in them that makes them heat the stuff?
Afraid not - I guess I shouldn't mention mobile phones work on microwave lengths (they get stopped by your skull and are slightly different in size which makes the water jiggle less)....

Yeah go for the cheapest digital - I can't get to grips with knobs - poaching eggs and croissents all require sub 1 minute blasts and it's too hard with knobs....

You're telling us, you're a man who can't control his knob?

They don't get stopped by your skull, otherwise as soon as you turn your head away from the mast, your call would cut out.

    You urbanite... ;)

What about on top of a hill? They still work there, they work *especially* well there - though there is no "backdrop"...
