Cripes my brother makes a living as a microwave geek. His company uses the waves that they make as an alternative mode of communication.His portable bases have been used by the army and he programmes satellites as well-Me i just use them to cook beans.

Jaffa cakes explode nicely in microwaves as well.

Hypno, you need to eat the chocolate on the jaffa cake too, that way it counts as 2 of your 5 a day (chocolate is made from beans).

Bob, I've never tried microwaved jaffa cake, but I did once absent-mindedly heat up a vodka and tonic!

It was smart price vodka and Lidl tonic (which is much nicer than smart price tonic, if anyone drinks G&T or V&T). I still drank it, but it wasnt very nice and the lemon went a bit soggy (not to mention the ice cubes).

Never touch it, i am a brandy girl or rum.Usually only buy when abroad, have never tried other versions as still have loads left-don't drink too much about once a month and then post on party threads, butno excuse as also do when i am sober- must be something in the tea!
