I use a bar of soap, and solid shampoo and conditioner too. Cheaper, and easier to pack!0

Natural handmade soap with oils to stop it drying skin. Not cheaper than shower gel but much nicer to skin. Comes with little heassian type soap bag to keep it in that you can use as a scrub I believe aswell
Cheap soaps dry skin out and shower gel is just chemical ridden and causes all sorts of issues with dry skin for me, especially the cheap ones full of SLS0 -
I don't use soap (haven't had a bar of soap in the house for at least 20 years) or shower gel.
I wash my hair in the shower every day and use the shampoo to wash the rest of me too.
Take two bottles into the shower? Not me.0 -
Soap for me too - Bronnley lemon - have to buy them on the interweb.0

Aww..that reminds me of my nan. When I was a little girl (I'm now 54!) I used to buy her one of those soaps, wrapped in tissue paper and shaped like a lemon, every Christmas!

I always used to use shower gel until I met my boyfriend who just uses Dove soap. That lathers up beautifully and lasts for AGES compared to shower gel. There's also far fewer plastic bottles being wasted. I've switched to bar soap for handwashing too, mainly to reduce packaging.
The humble bar of soap (with hot water) has saved countless lives through basic hygiene over the decades. We owe it a lot! They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
At home we use both (probably more gel).
I mostly shower in the gym after my morning swim, so it's more convenient to take gel with me.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Soap
The tesco pro one that's the same as dove
Never use soap on my face though, way too drying
Alikay used to do the same for our nan and like other posters have mentioned she used to put it in with the linens till it had dried out before using it. Her normal soap was a bar of household soap. She washed her clothes, herself and her hair with it. When I come across it now it reminds me of her so much0 -
In the sink, we have handwash as we have a toddler and it is easier for when she is washing her hands.
Shower, we still use gentle soap. Less harsh on the skin.0 -

Have you tried TK Maxx? They sell Bronnley soap.Aww..that reminds me of my nan. When I was a little girl (I'm now 54!) I used to buy her one of those soaps, wrapped in tissue paper and shaped like a lemon, every Christmas!
That reminds me of when I was little and got my Uncle a Soap on a Roap....every single Christmas, it became a running joke!0
