I use soap named after me SimpleI started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
Soap - I reckon it lasts much longer, and is cheaper. I have however read that soap sales are declining rapidly in favour of liquid soaps. Also, when you go into a supermarket now, the selection of 'real soaps' is quite minimal.

Shower gell is four or five times more expensive than soap.
I can buy four bars of nivea/imperial leather for 99p.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
We very rarely use soap. If we do, it's from Lush. Soap is definitely more economical, but I like trying all the different scented shower gels.0

Another soap user here. This might be gross but I find shower gel just doesn't cut through old deodorant residue and grease like soap does. Maybe I'm unusually dirty :rotfl:0

I try to keep soap/shampoo etc as unscented as possible so that it doesn't clash with my perfume.0 -
I use Cidal bar soap - got rid of my spots when I was a teenager, and I've used it ever since.0

Am I really one of the first to say gel?
I don't think I've bought a bar of soap in my life, and I'm 48. I hate how dry my hands feel if I go somewhere and have to use a bar of soap to wash them, so I'm unlikely to experiment with soap in the shower anytime soon.0
