Does anyone else still use soap instead of shower gel in the shower?

I am getting a bathroom refurbished and I asked the sales person if the shower came with a soap dish. He said no because no-one uses soap in the shower any more.

But I do. I have never used shower gel.

I use soap always have always will if the have never seen a shower without a soap dish and would never buy one without one.

My husband still likes to use a bar of soap in the bath/shower but I got fed up with is getting soggy on the sink, so treated us to a lovely handwash (on special offer of course).
In the shower I wash my hair first and then use the bubbles to wash the rest of me.

Yes I use soap. Our new shower did not have a soap dish either, I bought one from Ebay to fit.

Why do people bang on about never drop the soap in the shower? I've dropped it plenty of times and nothing bad has ever happened to me :huh:
