palec - we're not being grumpy with you. We all started the same way here.

Just space out your posts. Paste in the question you are answering, then write your answer. We can't tell which bit goes with which.

A debt collector can do nothing. A Court can. You're nowhere near that yet, if ever.

Now go back and read what was asked, then answer each point one by one.

    example:
Yes it was Windscreen ticket?, but if so, your next words 'they sent' hints more at a Notice to Keeper....
They sent, then communicated via E-mail.

I'm off to bed now palec. Don't forget to look up LBC and MCOL. That's the trigger for more action, if either should arrive.

Seeing you joined in Jan 2014, I'm guessing you found mse prompted by this pcn. You should have been reading, asking for
finetuning advice on your popla appeal then.

    What's done is done.

  • the OP has PMed me with his email and POPLa code number I hace checked it on parking cowboys website and it is genuine .

SO , if the OP did send it off and it was declined , there is not lot we can do.

    OP:

the parking co can chase you for upto 6 years in England , the debt collection Co , cannot take you to court , only PPL

if it goes to court , they (debt collection lot) get nothing.

if it goes to court , you can either pay it before court , and its done with

go to court and put it before a proper (sic) "judge" , explain your equality act mitigation , the fact that you overstayed thru health problems , bought another ticket and offered to more than cover there costs

sit back , they (the parking co) might sent court paper , if they do , you must contact the court quickly to let them know you are contesting , and come back to this forum to get people to write a proper defence.

the debt collectors will say "we may take you to court" DO NOT WRITE OR PHONE THEM.

sit back and await a letter before action from the parking Co , not "bog" paper from Debts R us .

other people please add or suggest differently

8 minutes late is well within any grace period that PPCs must allow in order to conform to the BPA Ltd AOS Code of Practice. Therefore send a strong complaint to the BPA (Steve Clark), highlighting this breach, ask him why you should have to waste your time and effort with these scammers, and tell him to sort them out. And once again, the DVLA have failed to carry out due diligence, and have given out the keeper details illegally.

palec - aready mentioned several times, but this is most important.

'The debt collectors will say "we may take you to court" DO NOT WRITE OR PHONE THEM.

NEVER EVER - OKAY? PROMISE US YOU UNDERSTAND THIS.

Palec, that advice was not a popla appeal. It was a little helpful add-on note to email Steve Clark of the BPA. Don't do anything more now. Sleepyhead time.

Ok, less is sometimes more, especially in my case...:-).
    Thank you everybody.
I am confident to the degree, because I have got proof that ticket expired for 8 minutes, which there should be some grace period by code of practice, some ethics should be in every occupation if it would go to court and on top of it after Popla appeal was refused and they wanted £100, I was reading some solicitors advice to send reasonable amount of money which would cover actual loss, in my case 8 minutes 0.12£ plus administration fees, so I tried to send £10 cheque which was sent back with note to pay £100, the have not cashed it, I should have it for memory, just need to find it now probably. Good night
