Thanks for good wishes for my friends grand daughter, not heard anything yet, fingers crossed.
Rhosynbach, sorry to hear your sad news, and all the trouble your having. What is it with men and having ops or going to the doctors in general. My OH needs an op for a hernia aswell, and he has had a hoarse throat for weeks now, I eventually managed to get him to the doctors yesterday, and they have said he may have nodules on his voice box, and have given him the same tablets, that I have got for my tonsilitus,if that doesnt clear it he has got to see an ENT Specialist.0 -

This you have been in the wars. Sorry you have had such a tough time of it, hopefully things will change for the better soon.
As for your OH, men are right woosses when it comes to that sort of thing. Had to dig my heals in to get OH to go about his ankle last time, it always means a stay in hospital, and there is always the risk he could lose it if it flares up, but sooner done soonest mended is my motto. I always think back to my mum, if she had gone to the doctors sooner then she could still have been here. So tell him to get his thumb out of his **** and get it sorted before it becomes an emergency!
Sarah, will be thinking about the little girl, when a little one is ill you just want to take the illness off them, will be praying for the best outcome xxWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

and my busyness I blame on cjjinspiring me to get a job. within 2 weeks I have ended up opening and closing up and ordering stock as the owners dad took ill so doing long days more staff organised so on a day of and from next week only doing the 3 days i want.
Whats worse we have no mobile or internet connection where I work.
I bet I have missed some good glitches, how is fairclair ladyshopper, dil hope they are doing ok with treatment. and i think nannylala was due a hospital trip and someone else but cant remember who but hope everyone is well anyway xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Sorry to hear your having a rough time rhosy xx
But your job sounds just like mine lol. I'm only supposed to do 3 days but there is always overtime required lol.
Sarah that is such sad news. Cannot begin to imagine how the poor family must be feeling. I don't know why life if so cruel xx
LS & FC hope your both ok as not caught up fully. Tiny & bubbs have your pains settled ? xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Well I might have thought that but she would never block her big sister.
Guess it's good news the most recent update seems to have fixed it I just managed to ring her ok. Was weird as before update we could text even though couldn't ring. For info she has an iPhone 5. I'm sticking with iOS 7 that my phone came with.
My brother-in-law has unfriended me on FB. I got a bit carried away and started comping on all 3 FB accounts and it was taking his timeline over :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When I bought the house from new I asked for UPVC double glazing but builder wouldn't do it - even when I offered to let him keep windows & I'd source & pay for the UPVC DG ones. It just seems now too much hassle to have everything replaced, I need new kitchen & bathroom too so am hoping to get it all done at once & maybe go on a cruise/long holiday to US while it's being done? Hubby has to have his back & knees done before we can do this. I also have to find a builder who I can trust before it's all done - there is no way hubby could put up with dust & we need doors blocked up/re-positioned too.
I don't know about getting all big home improvements done all at once. It drove me to the edge of madness having our builder here for nearly 3 weeks just doing one bathroom - I suppose if you have a large garage or outhouse that the builders had use for storage purposes of all of the tools and building materials and for wood cutting and tile cuttings then its not a problem.
our builder filled 3 bedrooms, the corridor, dining room and living room and the porch as well as the yard with building materials plus his tools and he also had 7 tool boxes and sets!
most days the weather was good so he was doing the cutting and hacking outside fortunalty.
the dust and mess is inevitably and all pervading and there is no way of escaping it, even if you go on holiday you have to come back to it and no builder can be left on his own to get on with things - they need constant tea and biscuits“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Quick question, my car lights have gone this morning, not good when it is foggy and dark and everyone keeps flashing at you  need to get fixed today
How much should a main car lamp and side light cost ?
Oh usually deals with any car related stuff but he is in bed with flu, so I am going to have to take it to a garage, any help would be much appreciated Thank you
Worth buying the emergency bulb kits as £10ish per bulb from Halfords, £3 est for the bulb kit(yes I know you don't need the other bulbs at the moment but have found it the cheapest way to buy them - T Extra have sold in the past).

Tell DS3 that he's really NOT supposed to hurt himself doing self defence. Sounds like he was a bit over enthusiastic there! Sorry about your friend. Bet your employer was REALLY glad you decided you'd like a job there, no doubt having you around helped them a lot! You always sound like a person that really can cope when the chips are down.
FC - your son demanding a note is very funny. lol
Saying prayers for that poor little 2 year old girl. How stressful!
Hope nannylala is OK.
Memory span limited due to drugs (or is it old age - or old timers?) so hugs to all who need then etc. etc.
What's funnier is that he's still got a bee in his bonnet about his paid for but not eaten sandwich on the day he was sent home. He's due in any moment now and I'll find out if he got the refund he insisted he was going to ask for
My argument that he shouldn't get a refund as the sandwich still would have been made regardless of whether he ate it or not didn't suit his logic.0 -
