hi everyone hope the elite are well, have not been on as rl bit sad, and very busy lost a friend, an amazing man 45 years on lifeboats took ill on a rescue and died, also ds3 broke his hand while being taught self defence at school. my new mare has to be rehomed as she is bonkers, oh needs to go for an op for a hiatus hernia, but will not go.
and my busyness I blame on cjj ;) inspiring me to get a job. within 2 weeks I have ended up opening and closing up and ordering stock as the owners dad took ill so doing long days more staff organised so on a day of and from next week only doing the 3 days i want.
Whats worse we have no mobile or internet connection where I work.

I bet I have missed some good glitches, how is fairclair ladyshopper, dil hope they are doing ok with treatment. and i think nannylala was due a hospital trip and someone else but cant remember who but hope everyone is well anyway xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Must go do a catch up with a coffee, see what's what :)

FC hope you are coping this week, ds makes me chuckle but the serious side is that it must be difficult for you at times x

    Afternoon

Aww bless you :A I'm fine. More inconvenient than difficult.
The only real difficulty I've got is watching other people being worried :o I'm finding that harder to cope with than anything else.

DS2 insisted on going back to school today. He also insisted on a handwritten note explaining why he'd been off, despite the fact that it was school who sent him home in the first place so they already know. I'd also kept in contact by email with his form tutor so the note wasn't needed. BUT he got the school rule book out where it says it is so I was made to write one anyway :rotfl:

It's glorious here again today. I have to say the weather this last couple of weeks has gone a long way to keeping my spirits up. Its the final night of the fireworks competition here tonight and it should be ideal conditions to sit on the beach and watch :D

You sure she's not just blocked you? :p

Well I might have thought that but she would never block her big sister. ;)

Guess it's good news the most recent update seems to have fixed it I just managed to ring her ok. Was weird as before update we could text even though couldn't ring. For info she has an iPhone 5. I'm sticking with iOS 7 that my phone came with. :o

Yes he fine. He just had a bad cold and was sent home from school the other day. And yes the upset to his routine bothered him a lot more than his cold did!

So sorry to hear about your friend :(

    Good Afternoon :)

Sarah sorry to hear the sad news about the little one hope its good news later.

Nannylala hope you are ok been thinking about you :)
  • Jeez Rhosy - sounds like you've been through the wringer. Hope things calm down soon & you can persuade hubby to go in for hernia op. Tell DS3 that he's really NOT supposed to hurt himself doing self defence. Sounds like he was a bit over enthusiastic there! Sorry about your friend. Bet your employer was REALLY glad you decided you'd like a job there, no doubt having you around helped them a lot! You always sound like a person that really can cope when the chips are down.

FC - your son demanding a note is very funny. lol

Saying prayers for that poor little 2 year old girl. How stressful!

    Hope nannylala is OK.

Memory span limited due to drugs (or is it old age - or old timers?) so hugs to all who need then etc. etc.
