WaS, I have days of one massive evening meal and then 24 hours of non-stop eating. I'm not sure which is worse! :D Glad to hear you're all up and clean and dressed again :)

Am getting nervous about counselling again (this evening). Not sure it's for me! Can't help thinking it would better serve my mental health to have the time free to clean the house (my usual exciting Friday night). Am worryingly annoyed that I'm now going to have to clean tomorrow morning instead lol. Can't get used to being out every evening.

What it is to be a social butterfly!
I know what you mean about resenting spending weekends cleaning. The difference is, I don't generally go out of an evening, but don't get any jobs done during the week either.
Give counselling a proper go before you blow it out. Anything outside of your comfort zone is going to feel odd/uncomfortable to start with. Especially if it's touching on areas where you'd generally rather not go. I spent my first few sessions doing nothing but crying, but I did get some use from it in the end. Think of something to treat yourself with afterwards, if it helps.

Social butterfly :rotfl:. Does it still count if some of those evenings out are counselling, music lessons and travelling back from work till 9pm?!

Am determined to give the counselling a go. Have told myself a minimum of three sessions before I decide whether to carry on for another three or call it a day. Tonight is only the second one! Definitely outside my comfort zone though, I am very much not good at crying in front of anyone other than P cat (who is just awesome :D), am still surprised at how much I cried during last week's session. I thought I'd be able to hold it together better. Dread to think what I'll be like tonight when the conversation gets round to me talking to him for ages at the weekend.

Treats are good though :D. Just need to start thinking of some less food-related ones!

ETA: I tend to think if I've already wasted a day by going to work I might as well spend another couple of hours cleaning, but it seems such a waste to have to do that on a lovely fresh Saturday.

I'm feeling pretty much the same about going to the pub tonight, which is quite shameful really.

I love spending time with friends but it's like the list of things I've got to do are a constant ticker-tape running through my head and, due to spending time with my mum tomorrow morning before heading down to OH's mum's for the weekend and her then coming to stay at ours on Tuesday, I have no time in which to do them. OH's doing his best to complete as many of the tasks as he can but there are some I'm so fussy about that there's no point delegating because I'd only do them again anyway.

p.s. Good luck for tonight, I hope it all goes well

Would anyone like to see a Gitdog performing a down stay in his own inimitable style? :D
