Yes, Sue, you could just tell us when you're feeling bad without giving the reason why. There are things I don't feel I can mention in detail, for all sorts of reasons, but people on here have been very kind when I've been feeling ghastly, without them knowing all the ins and outs.
It's enough for them to know that someone is feeling bad - we don't have to know the reasons, and please don't feel you can't post on here without saying the reasons ........... You can.
Big hugs ((((((((((SingleSue))))))))))))):A(I just lurve spiders!)

(((Sue))) It is brave to say something, I hope you know that xx
Just musing here.... we have the option of adding other topics to the main 'avoid talking about' list. It's always going to be a tricky balance between avoiding triggers and encouraging open communication - I reckon we're actually pretty good at getting that balance right most of the time. But if there's room for improvement it's so important that people feel able to speak up.
I'm just off to re-read the rules post as I'm not sure I've been following them all lately. Sorry0 -
Cleaning
Had a lovely night off following the usual ignorant behaviour.
They were out woop.
My dogs have been sick this morning (boo doesn't cope with heat) so mopping up dog yak which is always pleasant0 -
Sue, I think that difficulty seems to be not so much that we discuss stuff that might be triggers, because they are usually penguined, but that you have to read the penguins because of the OCD. For "completion", so to speak.
Can you think of a way round that? Is there any process we can put in place whereby triggers can still be penguined, but would enable you to opt out of reading the penguins?
Please feel free to make suggestions.
I know that sometimes we penguin without indicating what the penguin trigger might be. Would it help if we were more conscientious about 'labelling' the penguin, or would you still feel compelled to read it even if it were labelled with one of your triggers?
(Edit.....I've amended the Etiquette to ask people to be sure to indicate the type of penguin. That will help everybody, I think!)(I just lurve spiders!)

One if the reasons we have stayed here is its bloody well insulated. 1 hours heating will last the whole day and it will be toasty.
OH put the heating on do a couple of hours last night, that and being cuddled up to me under a blanket meant he's poorly.0 -
I've been thinking of Codemonkey since I found that code badge and the turtle fountain pics.
Code, if you're hovering, I hope you're ok. :A(I just lurve spiders!)
