I'm working from home today but P cat has become incredibly affectionate. Which is lovely, but it's hard to do anything with a cat sat on the keyboard0 -

Right..............now I've gone and done it. I decided I had enough of the useless university and sent a most strongly worded email to the programme tutor. Now I have had a response email asking for information on the problems, and very nicely, the lady has offered to be my personal tutor, but I am now cacking my pants that my marks are now going to head downhill and the learning experience is going to go even more out of the window..........so disappointed with the world. Hrrrumph!0

Afternoon shipmates,
hugs and squishes and handshakes to all that need them.
I have been out spending money I don't have LOL!! oh well never mind. Nothing exciting just bits and bobs. But it does soon add up though :eek:but will be on next months credit card bill :rotfl:
Decided that I need a white petticoat like the ones on lindy bop. As I have a couple of dresses that could do with some thing that will give them some more body. But not sure I can afford £25 and if the quality is any better than off of ebay???
Right have a very late lunch as only just got back in after all my shopping. I am all shopped out LOL!!!
Got no energy now. But have some things I should get on with.
I will think about it.
WaS sorry to say it does not matter what, where or whom there is always someone who is not as good at there job as they could/should be. In the case of DWP they don't seem to understand the distress that it causes. Or maybe they do but have grown immune to it. I must admit towards the end of leaving my last proper job. I was doing customers service and I must admit that I got a bit like that. To me no one had died if there parcel did not arrive on time or got lost. But to them its the end of the world.
Catch you all later.

Whether or not it's worth spending more for the Lindy Bop one probably depends on how much sitting down you're likely to do while you're wearing it.
We went to a 50s thing a couple of years back and some of my friends had £10-from-ebay petticoats and found that they flattened down a bit at the back after sitting on the train. Those of us who had more expensive ones (mine's a Hell Bunny, so similar price to Lindy Bop) found they stayed full all day.
Also, I forgot this morning, WWI:
I put on half a pound. Considering the amount I drank at the weekend, we were out Friday and Saturday and had my parents over for dinner Sunday (which also involved lemon meringue pie), I'm very grateful that the damage was that limited.
Positives for the week:
1. I got my nails done with shellac yesterday
2. My mum told me that our flat is the only place my dad's as comfortable as he is at home
3. I went to the gym and it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be
Positive steps for the week ahead:
1. I'm going away for the weekend for a friend's birthday so will try to enjoy myself and eat what I want but without going mad
2. I get a lie in tomorrow
3. I'm going to the gym again tonight and possibly tomorrow
Seeing as I'm not back in work until Tuesday, and I hate trying to read the forum on my phone/tablet, I hope everyone has a good weekend. Hugs and squishes to all that need/want them.0 -

You know when you really wish you'd worked harder on proofing those Gitdog commands? So when he legs it into a hedge and bounces back out again looking really pleased with himself chewing on a (very) soiled pair of pants, you're not faced with prising the gob open while yelling "drop it you little !!!!!!" at the top of your voice? Guess what training we're practicing for the rest of the night...
There's some mucky beggars out there.
Hope everyone's days went better today. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
