    Thanks code.
OH went nuts when I told him. Managed to calm him by pointing out we are winning that's why they are playing even dirtier.

He's now at healthy minds every week and his therapist wants to do a home visit

    Thanks code downloading it now
Texting myself the noise think I might send a response email Sundayish.
Log all of these Tuesday or Wednesday so they think I can't for a few days lol
  • You are very likely right Melly, you are winning and they are panicking. I am so glad that OH has support now, that will hopefully make things a bit easier for you. How is the job going? Say hi to Alan for me and have a hug!

I think the electronic forms are harder to hide and it's skewing their figures.
Also the community trigger has kicked in

Alright I think WaS met with director today had a walk round he was impressed with what I had done and some of the more awkward lads were lovely about me.
  • Aw, well done Melly! You are clearly excellent at work! With everything you are coping with outside of it that's even more reason to feel proud!

    Awwwwwwww! How lovely, Melly!

Some therapists like to do a couple of home visits, some also like to meet the OH's of their clients because it can give them greater insight of how a client lives day to day. I had one who visited me at home as a one off, one who wanted to meet WaSp and one who came into my home for 4 weeks and helped me tidy it up which was all part of my CBT treatment, she mopped floors and threw away my hoard of empty tin cans with me. They tend to have different approaches, it's rarely anything to worry about and you can refuse it if it makes you or OH feel uncomfortable.

OH said about it today and I have said it will be good I think.
Hopefully it will be like now when she comes and that's someone else that hears this
  • It will give her a bit more insight into how OH lives day to day, plus if she arranges to meet you as well you might be able to tell her difficult situations that OH has forgotten to mention. It is also a way of making sure you have enough support. When a therapist met with Wasp at my house they were concerned about him too and checked that he was coping ok. It is easier for a therapist to work effectively if they have the bigger picture. Also, some people feel safer seeing someone in a familiar space so are more open. When I was working as an HIV therapist I used to meet one of my clients in the park because he had a fear of medical buildings and didn't want me to visit him at home, the more comfortable the client the better the therapy opportunities.
