Just click on it and enter a price that you are willing to pay. The seller can then either accept it, decline it or make a counter offer....then you can always make a counter offer back until you both reach an acceptable price.

I always list my items that way now. I had a guy the other day bartering back for pence, entering stuff like £8.20 when I'd given him a price of £9 down from £14!

I just read this in a article about love

"I understood that I can make my emotions work for me, that they are the servant and I am their master, not the other way around. That they are not commandments as much as powerful recommendations. That just because I feel it, does not mean that it must be so."

I like that quote calley. I am imagining you sending a text to someone: I powerfully recommend you to eff off! (only joking about sending it)

I have my phone on silent so of course when the dr called 20 mins later than the appointment I was concentrating on something else and missed the call. My emotions were powerfully recommending that I was upset and should stuff the world, but I made myself ring back and rebook. He has just called back, complimented me on my understanding of my own body - I explained exactly how I was struggling - confirmed I could take the modified release ones before bed so I didn't forget them and said he'd send the prescription to the pharmacy for me. He couldn't have been kinder. (And he was one of the old-fashioned kind with the sort of voice a paranoid me might think would tell me to 'pull myself together, for goodness sake).

I want to crawl into bed or duvet forts but that is not an option today. Did have a quick chat with a friend this morning. Someone I don't phone because I think I'll pop in and see her but then you realise half a year has gone by.

    Off to make another phonecall.

Think I am starting to get control of things.

Text a friend about an hour and half ago. its been delivered according to my phone. But no reply. Not feeling twitchy but early days.

I know I have things to do in the house and garden. But need other stuff to fill my days with to keep my mind busy. Not done any x-stitching for weeks. Need to start again.

I don't even know how to check a message has been delivered on my phone. I assume it has if I don't get a failure note.

Cross stitch sounds like a good idea, calley. Is it quite soothing to do?

    Hi :)

Just a quick pop in today. I'm about to finish work number one, sleep for an hour or two and then view a house at 8pm. Then its work number two for two hours, maybe some food and try and sleep!

Calley - Glad to hear you're doing better, you're not alone, we've all been there, just try and keep your chin up and if you cant come and rant on here, throw your penguins about, and know that you're awesome.

Code - your stapler thing made me LOL!

Much hugs to those who need them.

    Good evening all!

Well done, whitewing on calling the Doctor! And well done Calley! Keep doing that cross stitch!

You sound like you are having a wonderful time, Pyxis!

Any deaths by staplers yet, code?

Good luck with the house, Dom!

Very itchy eyes can be dry eye syndrome especially if it's first thing in the morning, last thing at night or when cooking. It can also mean nothing but keep an eye on it, that's how my problem started. A little drop of fake tears whenever they itch solves the problem! If anyone is terrified of eye drops like me incidentally, the doctor showed me another way to put them in. Close your eyes and pull your bottom eyelid down and pop them inside it so that you don't have to see the drops coming. Then roll your eyes around while closed to spread the liquid. It's the only way that I can use them. It's a technique she uses with children but nevermind that...
