So peed off. Just lost 2000 steps as the stupid moves app decided my walk home was actually public transport. If you're doing the bounts thing on android, your options for linked apps are poor.

Trigger sorry things aren't good just now. Take care
Chockie glad things went well with the doctor

Today I eventually dragged myself out of bed at 4:30pm and that's only because my husband came home from work. What is the point when nothing happens anyway?

My life is a cycle of nothingness.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Oh charliewocka, so much of what you wrote feels like me, well except i almost cried at work instead of actually (that was yesterday) i can imagine looking it at from the outside our OHs just want us to be happy, so their approach is "fix it" and they seem to struggle when we can't explain what the issues are. thats how it seems to me anyway

Hi Tiggerjj, nice to hear somebody feeling the same. I don't want the OH to feel I am a lost cause because of this but I know today has helped. I think I wanted him to just realise I can't help this. It's been good though and I do feel a weight has been lifted somehow. But now I am in that exhausted and emotionally drained state. If you ever want to chat, I'm here! As said today, this is a time that will pass, no matter how far away that seems....

I am so lucky with my GP, she is lovely and really Lows who I am. Always asks about my brother and how we are coping and is just smiley and positive so it's kind of infectious...dos good for her and the OH to meet. We were in there for half hour and she was even asking him about his injury and checking progress of my referral for genetic testing (telling us to not focus on it for a while, what will be will be).

Having a night with the SIL tomorrow, she's coming over and we are getting takeout and having a couple of drinks. Signing up for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge later this year which gives us something to aim for...

Off to bed now, so sweet dreams everyone. Early start tomorrow as Wickes deliver between 7 and 10 tomorrow, plus plumber arriving and got to walk dogs and head for BIL birthday breakfast. All before 10! Hope tomorrow has some positivity for us all....

That happened to me on Monday.

I forgot to put on my Fitbit wristband before going out, managed over 11,000 steps on my 'phone and got home very pleased with myself.

On opening the Fitbit app to record food and drink, the 'phone app synced with the Fitbit wristband and the 'phone recorded 712 steps. :(

It did however, retain the calories burned on the walk and the distance.

So Monday, before it updated with the later activity, I travelled over 2 miles with 712 steps....
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Hugs (((((Torry))))) Sorry you're feeling so low. :(

Have you got any hobbies or interests that you could partake in during the day? Maybe start a new project of some sort to try and help fill in the day? Maybe baking? I know watching tv is not everyone's cup of tea, but are their any box sets or movies you could maybe watch that would fill in a few hours.

I decided they weren't cheating me out of my points with their rubbish app so have been moving as much as possible, including walking about in the garden. Pretty sure the neighbours think I'm odd. However, having done that and saw another couple of hundred steps disappear from the step counter, I did get it over 7000. If I have to keep this up I'll be skinny in no time and will have an uber clean house. :rotfl:

Hugs Torry. ME is rubbish. It won't always be this way.

    Hello tigger and charlie.

    Glad you're having fun Pyxis.

Well done on the popcorn melly

Get doing that paperwork WaS. Or even better, the higher rate one.

    .

:rotfl: I was making sure to extra steps yesterday as I was determined to get it over the 7000, and so was walking round shops more, up and down aisles, taking the long way round....then I thought I'd better stop it or else they'd think I was a shoplifter! :rotfl:

Just checked my app and my hundred bonus points have already gone on, so thanks for that code!
  • !!!!!! has Pete Burns done to himself? He looks scary now! He used to be quite good looking and I loved Dead or Alive when I was little. He's ruined himself now and has implants everywhere, so sad really. :(

Morning all! Half past eight here!

Am eating far too much. Am trying little bits of everything! Have gone vegetarian for the duration, except where some fish is grilled from fresh right in front of me, like last night when I had a small piece of mullet. Delish!

Even at breakfast.......have gone native! No egg and bacon for me!
The trouble is, unlike the other two hotels, this one has lovely puddings.......tiny little intricate ones, so of course, you want to try one of each! Aaaargh!

There's a huge mix of nationalities....... German. French, Russian, and large parties of Chinese, interestingly! As well as all the Sri Lankans and Indians from the wedding parties!
Last night we saw a huge wedding party set up with tables under great long strings of lights, all outside in the open, and periodically they let off fireworks. God knows what that costs the family!

I can say hello in Sinhalese...ayobowan, and thank you.......istutti, but that's it!

Tigger, I remember you now.....but not your username! The Netherlands thing reminded me! You don't mind balancing on the top of towers, do you? :D

Torry, I felt just like you before I went away. All the recurrent illnesses and the injuries stopping me do stuff meant that I spent most of each day on the bed, watching TV and surfing t'internet, and thinking is this it? I only got up to go to my language class and AmDram
Coming away has jolted me out of it. Being in a developing country has jolted me out of it too. I hope it lasts when I get back.

Would you be able to afford an activity holiday abroad? Perhaps try an activity you haven't done before? You quickly bond with the group, and can have such a laugh. We were in hysterics at dinner last night.......just silly stuff!
