Nope polly
That was how they got me to go in the first place so very let down0 -
It's your interview tomorrow, isn't it? Probably won't be around, so sending positive thoughts today in advance.
I've been to a meeting with my local councellors this evening - quite productive as they said the council could serve an enforcement notice on my japanese knotweed ignoring landlord next door but one. Last time I asked they said they couldn't do anything as it was on private land, so I'm not holding my breath but it's a start. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I had weekly appointments with my GP before i got my MH assessment and honestly it helped at the time but that was back when i was on ESA so i didn't have work to fit it around, in fact i'm terrible for sorting appointments since ive been working

They did that to me, Melly. It's horrid, isn't it? Honestly it is a box ticking exercise so they can pass the details on to the person who will work with you. I have found assessments have little to do with the treatment I am offered they just ask the same things of everyone at first.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

When I assess people I have to ask them if they plan to commit any crime. The looks I usually get are priceless! I've not yet had anyone say 'well actually now you come to mention it, I'm planning on...!'
It's because of where some of our funding comes from.0 -
I always laugh when I get asked if I ever feel as if I am not myself and someone powerful like a God or an alien. They ask me everytime and I always burst out laughing and tell them that my delusions don't work that way. They have to ask though because the assessment form says they must. To some people it would apply but for me a better question would be "Do you think of yourself as a totally useless member of society who is good for nothing?" Superior in any way is the last thing I feel. It always has little to do with the treatment that I am finally offered.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I'm not practicing it because I sound too rehearsed if I do that.

WaS, Mr JM and I have been discussing your car. We don't actually have a solution, but he has come up with an idea. Please ask the insurance company what the difference is between the repair value and the insurance value, and report back.
Warning - I will also be nagging you to apply for high rate DLA! It's ridiculous that you don't get it - care, if not mobility, and probably both.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Swain was at the hospital today as he has something wrong with his eyes, they reckon he has the same thing his dad has (i don;t know exactly what but i know his dad is losing his sight), and they;ve given him drops for glaucoma. He being his usual positive self isn't worried in the slightest but here i am worrying about it
apparently it's something hereditary which now has me worried if we have kids not only might they get that but also the bipolar and yeah....i'm worried.
MessedUp, don't panic. My father had glaucoma and I don't. ( Touch wood so far!)If you have a parent with it, you're entitled to free eye tests annually from the age of 40, so it's important to have those tests, and make sure you're given the specific glaucoma tests.(I just lurve spiders!)
