  • Now what do you want to be doing that for tea? :naughty: There'll be nothing to be gained from it, and he'll just think he's succeeded in getting somewhere with all his stalking, and that he hasn't done anything wrong.

A thought that's been playing round my mind since you mentioned seeing what you thought was him on your walk is, does he have any work mates who look like him and are fairly pally with him that if asked would help him out in keeping a tab on your whereabouts? Sorry, don't mean to freak you out even more, I've just got a very suspicious mind.

Tea, you don't need to talk to him! Talk to us instead! What can be said to him now? He's the one who's totally ruined things between you, you said you hoped you'd be friends given time and he's wrecked that.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I don't think so (but hey, you never know!) The people he works with are really good mates of his (his boss has been his best mate for over 30 yrs, and he's worked for him for about 20 yrs). But they are all nice enough people and I really don't think they'd agree to do anything, not now things are so advanced with the police (which they know about).

It really could have just been some innocent bloke walking home, and wondering why the woman on the other side of the road was staring at him. I just can't shake the feeling that it was him - even from stupid little things like the way he put his hat on. I know him, I could recognise him in a crowd in the dark.

Bizarrely I think it's that that's set me off today - there's no one else I know that well, there probably never will be. It's weird thinking that there's someone I was so close to that I could recognise them from half a road away, but I'll probably never speak to them again.

Am so annoyed that he's done this. I wasn't saying I'd never speak to him, I wasn't even saying we'd never sort things out - I just wanted some space. But because he couldn't accept that, this whole stupid situation is here and now I'll probably next see him in court and I'm so angry with him that he's ruined any chance of us being able to speak again.

And now I keep crying on my keyboard which is really not a good look and I'm angry about that too. And hormonal, which clearly isn't happening.

Right - let's hope that big stream of consciousness rant will help :o:(.

You will know someone else that we'll this is stokholm syndrome.
Your thinking no one will love me as much and your right cos he doesn't love you this is control and he's lost it and doesn't like it.
He's supposed to have you as fall back for when the flings fail.
Your not supposed to decide to leave
  • It's a kind of grief you are going through. Whether you've lost someone because they've died or you've lost someone though the breakdown of a relationship, the feelings of never seeing them or never speaking to them again, are upsetting and overwhelming at times.

Always trust your instincts too. Like you say, you know someone's mannerisms, the way they walk, the way they act, and so it more than likely was FOH. Never think anything is too small or too stupid to mention to the police.

Tea - as everyone else has said, don't contact him!!! I know how much you must want to be able to call him and try to make him see reason but I don't think he's going to, it'll just make him think he was right all along to be that persistent.

Wednesday weigh in - I have no idea how but I've managed to stay the same. I can't quite understand how I ended up putting on weight when I was eating reasonably sensibly and then after getting really disheartened, combined with PMT munchies, ate pretty much everything in sight and stayed the same...

    Positive things:
    1. The biscuits and lemon tart I made at the weekend both came out really well and everybody enjoyed them.
    2. I tidied the kitchen cupboard which has all the tupperware boxes in it so they no longer fly out every time you open it
    3. We finally got round to buying bedside tables

    Positive steps for this week:
    1. Book a haircut. It's been far too long and I keep putting it off because I can't afford it but it's starting to get a bit ratty looking so I'm going to treat myself
    2. Paint my nails with one of the new ones I got for Christmas
    3. Give the flat a really good clean through.

In my panic I forgot the weigh-in. Somehow managed to lose 0.5lb - not much but considering what I've eaten this week will take it!

    Can't manage positives right now.
