Melly, glad you got something. Hopefully it will take the pressure off a little so you can re-charge your batteries. Good luck with healthy minds. If you don't get anywhere then pm me and I'll give you details of a great charity near here. I don't think you live near me, but they might have links to other similar charities elsewhere.
Sounds a good presentation Melly. Could you talk about money they'd save by improving HSE information? Saving money always goes down well!

HBS, try not to take it personally. I am the other way where it doesn't bother me not doing it. I love hubby dearly, and when we do, I do enjoy it. I just don't get an urge to initiate anything. In my case it is linked to depression, but stress, anxiety, tiredness and all sorts can cause it.

The others will pick up on the easy stuff and everything stems from the culture (mainly their new to working with JLR).

On the TMI front I am the not interested person and OH thinks it's because he's put some weight on its not I'm never bothered when I feel like this

Right, sent police baby a quick email. Did say that I'm not at all sure and I could be mistaken but at least I've mentioned it now. If nothing else hopefully it will get me a reply!

After ten years you know what someone looks like, how they move, how they walk, etc. At the moment I'm about 80% sure it was him. But I'm also aware that this whole thing is making me jumpy and paranoid.

Melly, I like the culture angle. I like the quote "culture is based on the worst behaviour that management will accept"... very true!

HBS - I can totally relate as having the same issue for longer than I care to think. Have tried on a few occassions to talk about it but he gets angry and says there is nothing wrong.

WaS - You're right if something is a problem to you then it's a problem. the scale of it doesn't matter. It slways annoys me when someone tells me that there is someone worse off than me because then I just feel guilty as well as everything else.

Melly - glad you got some money, hope you get the rest sorted soon
that was awful about the car. hope it gets sorted out soon

I did see on TV some time , think it was 'Trust me I'm a Doctor' about faecal transplants. It has had some really impressive results with patients with intractible digestive infections.

My Dad once told me many years ago that the trousers I was wearing made me look like a clown! Needless to say I din't wear them again. Recently though he said I was looking lovely so that was good.

I started going grey in my 20s but have never done anyting about it. Really couldn't be bothered.

Still feel that things are going badly but tring to do something every day even if just tidying out a drawer.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

OH had a flappy panic at me cos he gave me a hug and could feel my hips.
    I managed
1/3 of a small basa fillet
    4 fork fulls of rice
    4 fork fulls of kale.

Not enough but more than yesterday.
    I still haven't showered though

Well done melly. Now get in the shower and distract OH by smelling lovely!

I don't even know what my natural hair colour is!
I think mine is a mousey blonde, though i've not seen it in many years! :rotfl:

So...i'm having a small worry atm. Swain was at the hospital today as he has something wrong with his eyes, they reckon he has the same thing his dad has (i don;t know exactly what but i know his dad is losing his sight), and they;ve given him drops for glaucoma. He being his usual positive self isn't worried in the slightest but here i am worrying about it :o

apparently it's something hereditary which now has me worried if we have kids not only might they get that but also the bipolar and yeah....i'm worried. :o

To all you ladies whose gentlemen are coming on less than you'd like - try giving them a course of zinc tablets. If you just call them vitamins & say something about boosting their immune system in the winter, they may well co-operate. But you'll probably have to hand them over each day with the coffee or whatever. It takes a couple of weeks or so to kick in. At the very least you will be benefitting their health! And you'll probably feel the benefits too.
    Zipvit have very good prices.
Any tips for if they are too horny? :o

I do have a pretty high sex drive but some days (mainly cos of meds/my mood) mine slows down and its hard playing catch up. I mean i wouldn;t do it if i didn;t want to and Swain knows that (and gets the message pretty quick :o ) but i hate feeling like i'm letting him down. I'm usually up for it, just too tired
